Same, ever have that feeling where you know you need to cry but it just won't come out? That's what did it for me because I had to do the same once and it hurt me so much.
I still remember standing in the doorway yelling for my now long deceased dogs and my siblings so that way we could play outside for the last time. I'll never forget that house.

@@Nick-rg8oz People move for any number of reasons. Maybe the kids all grew up, maybe they fell on financial hard times, maybe there were better opportunities elsewhere

@Nick six names called out. Likely 6 kids raised in that home, and all are grown and moved on. That breakdown is a good papa bear who raised his family right, and is now downgrading to a smaller home that's easier to care for. But the memories in those walls are tough to let go of.
Aaah, that final call by the dad made me cry. Him getting choked up saying thank you to the house was really sweet too 😭

@@simonaerts5282 seniors and sometimes juniors play a game to see who will survive the longest, and how I know it is once a week they have some to 'kill' and also have someone trying to 'kill' them. It keeps going until there's only one person left.
@@simonaerts5282 There's a wiki page with more info, too. Look up Assassin (game) or Killer (game). I'm just curious about which countries this game is played in, since the wiki page mentioned that Oxford University has a weeklong version and I know it's played in the US, of course.
My son did it last year. They used water guns and couldn’t do it in the actual school. Lasted a month. They could be safe if they wore pool floaties on their arms. It was hysterical to watch. People were putting trackers on other player’s cars 😆

I bought my parents house just now, because even though it's just a simple material thing, I would never let this house full of history and stories be going to strangers. I will carry this thing for the rest of my life with me and cherish everything that we experienced as family and remember every little moment in of every corner.

2nd vid made me so incredibly happy and jealous. Im supposed to be a senior this year but i had to drop out in 10th grade due to mental health reasons and i dont think ill ever be fit to attend school physically. Even if i went, i wouldnt be able to socialize or lead a normal highschool life. My one dream is to have a group of irl friends or attend a highschool prom like in the movies, i hope i can experience at least that before its too late
I do have a twin brother tho, at least i get to hear his stories about school proms and he lets me hang out with his friend group sometimes even if i just trail behind like a shadow
That’s kinda your own fault. I was in and out of therapy since elementary and made it through high school. You need to auto pilot life or just end it. No I’m not saying to end it but you have to grow up and learn to deal with how crappy life is and will always be. Trust me. It’ll never get better. Never does.
I hope you do it before you get any older, and risk missing it. Work with a therapist to work through whatever struggles come up WHILE you do it! Otherwise, life just passes us by if we wait for the "right" time... and then the opportunity is gone. And never, never, NEVER give up! I hope that helps!

The last of my seven kids (my triplets) are graduating and leaving for college. It will have been 39 years of raising kids. I know how he feels.
The way I see it, these videos celebrate love. Love of friends, Love of family, Love of nature, and the joy of seeing others love.

That Goodbye house clip hit me in the feels. And I had no good memories in my childhood home that i remember. Just filled with shit, and anger, and things i have forgotten on purpose. Hope my kids look at our house this way if we ever leave. I know I will.

It was very sweet with the dad saying goodbye to the house, but could you imagine if he locked that door and than realised he'd left a bag behind and had to awkwardly dash in to get it? Leaves with a quick, "See ya house."

I wish I could have purchased my childhood home ,and raised my boys in it , I saw not to long ago it was up for sale again ,but my boys are grown now ,and I don't have the means to purchase it ,but everytime I think of my childhood home I think how wonderful it would be to have it ,and keep it in the family ,and be able to pass it from generation to generation !!!
