Green fisherman's overalls/laundered green dresses (legendary weighted combat armor arms in green) and green rag hats, both with ballistic weave on fishing village settlers. Are what I jokingly added to my settlers, but they swarm everything like angry insects.
Damn that’s awesome it looks perfect in the setting. People talking about fixing windows and what not are crazy this is a fantastic build!
Thank you! 😊 I would live there if I could.
That gap between the stairs and the fence/railing would be a perfect place for and a standing ash tray
That’s a great idea!
Nice. What's the rent on this place? Since everything is pop-tops now, I'm a little short on caps, so... 🤷♂
I had an interesting idea for a future project for you. Find a spot along a road, and build a little strip mall type place. Have one store be Institute themed, another Brotherhood, another Minutemen, etc. You could use different building types for each, and decorate with appropriate odds and ends. A one-stop shop for everyone in the Commonwealth.
Also, you complained about it taking so long, but it was only 20 minutes. 😉
I’m not sure what the rent will be. Will have to think on that. If I ever get my mods working, that would be a cool build idea for sure! And ah, the magic of video editing. 😉
Cute build for the issue adding wood pieces to warehouse pieces. You can put a wood wall on the porch area and then snap the wood roof to that and store the wood wall.
Thanks! I should have thought of trying that with as much building as I’ve done through the years. Thank you for the suggestion!
Nice, I've always liked this area in the game.. I also remember when you built your Western town here, looking forward to seeing you build this place up again.. 😊
I like it too! And I really miss that western town. This is shaping up to be a nice village, but there isn’t much in the way of budget. I’ll e using that gun/workshop glitch!!
@@rellygirl That would be the easiest way due to F4SE not being updated yet.. Which is strange cause there usually pretty quick about updating it...
That’s really strange!
I like your videos, they always relax me after a hard day at work.😊
That makes me happy to hear!
I love your Fallout 4 building video. Thanks.
I love to hear it. Thanks!
under structures-wood-prefab there is one with that roof and has post already with it but has no legs for the porch thingie
Sometimes it’s more fun to do it yourself and I wanted to show people a way you can do it (with any roof). Also, I used warehouse walls, which are taller.
I love adding "roofie porchie thingies" myself. It can really make a home feel more cozy!
Also,
It's ironic me seeing you do a Vanilla Build at Nordhagen. The first video I ever watched of yours was the Nordhagen Western Town.
Time sure does fly. 😊
Crazy, isn’t it? This location is one of my favorites. I love the views!
Don't feel bad, building with mods is still time consuming. The only real difference is, on Playstation we have the place anywhere stick, but it can still be troubling at times. It might make things easier, but not so much faster.
Believe me, I know. It’s actually a much longer process because of all the choices you have with mods. Takes me forever just to find what it is I’m looking for. 🤣
@@rellygirl yeah, there's that too😪😅
2:00 when things don’t snap but looks like they should it really helps to rotate the object constantly because eventually the game will reach a snapping point
9:00 I think the campfire method works well here, since you can sink down the pillar to the desired height
Maybe add a barn outhouse on the side outside!
The magic of editing took most of the spinning out. lol
Liking the little home!
Thanks! Me too. I could live there. Only, there’s no bathroom, so you have to go outside when nature calls and showers are during rad storms. 🤣
@@rellygirl I can see it now. Singing in the shower and be like Hey! I'm suppose to be getting clean and not irradiated!
@patrickgoodwin3085 🤣
Cool, Which DLC do you recommend I buy to have fun building?
I’m watching a lot of “building with no mods” but this one is definitely one of the best. Thank you!. I have a question though 😂 what’s the rgb color for that UI white?
Thank you! Next time I start up the game, I’ll look and let you know.
I have the rgb set all the way to the right to get the white.
@@rellygirl thank you very much!
I wonder how many times rellygirl actually says COME ON or Thingy lol bless her xx ur viďeos r great hun xx❤
🤣
They have better windows in the warehouse tab, if you scroll further.
I didn’t want to use the greenhouse looking ones. That’s not the look I was going for.
Cute indeed.
Those shack foundations usually give me issues. Don't know why.
Me too. They’re very persnickety!
awesome
Thanks!😊
"It just works"
Just curious why not use a scrap mode to just scrap the bushes? I love watching you work. Thanks for the video.
Apologies I was still watching the video I didn't realize you weren't using mods.
@markmueller-rougier3098 no worries!
Did you think about using the island build set, included bamboo foundations, palm trees etc?
Yes but not for this settlement. I’m using some of the decorations from that set, but that’s about it.
From where are that stuff/things?? Creation club? I cant find any bamboo at all. Sorry for my english.
@alejandrorr7557 I have all the dlcs and the creation club content. That gives a lot more to use. Also, you can pick up junk from the world and place it as decoration too. You have to be patient with that though because it tends to drop at weird angles and places and if you bump into it, it moves or falls.
Fallout 4 again please, hehe
There’s more coming!
Which DLC do you recommend I buy to have fun building?
Do your research to decide what you’d like, but I have all of them. I believe they all add more to the workshop menu, which is nice.
All of them are definitely worth it! 100%
❤
no mods? Safe? I put 5 beds 4 tables (to put it ironically) and I'm almost full for the size of the establishment😂
You have to make sure you have scrapped junk only kept in your workshop. It all adds up in the budget! Also, it’s a pretty small location, so all the scrappable yellow highlighted things such as the old boat, the driftwood, etc. will need to be removed too. Finally, there is a weapon glitch you can use to get more budget, which I use quite often, but I haven’t had to in this settlement yet. I have built several more things since this video and also have been decorating without maxing budget yet. Getting close though, so I’ll be using the glitch soon.
That's the thing I'll never understand, why use walls with broken windows instead of proper ones? You are supposed to have settlers within your settlement, which means roleplay speaking they repair the buildings where they live 😂
Can’t help it. That’s what’s available to build with.
