then I realized. i can be all that. just not in 14th century japan - but the modern world.
the katana is only a tool. the spirit is the same. get back to work. your story has only just begun.
Have you seen "Samurai Gourmet"? It's basically about being a modern day Samurai. The protagonist gets into various everyday situations and imagines what a 14th century wandering Samurai would do in the same situations.
This is the core of musashis teachings in music form. To be at peace yet ready at any time. To accept the warrior within while maintaining peace. A steady and masterful warrior who does not hesitate but does not strike aimlessly. Balance.
This is said perfectly.
Relationships are difficult, more than working/studying/workouts, more than anything else, I guess... It's difficult "to see" another human for what they truly are/need/fear without neither prejudice (pushing them away) nor obsession (pulling them closer). Even more difficult "to see" oneself truly, in deep clarity, with truth & acceptance, without any fear... This is a thought that comes to my mind whrn listening to this beautiful music 🌱🌸🌿💮🏵🌹🌺🌻

Thank you for creating this. My Dad passed 3 years ago and I'm going through a rough and anxious time with my mum's illness. This music gives me some respite for my mind and thoughts. To anyone going through a rough time with anxiety, depression, shame, anger and or any kind of challenge right now and in the future, I prey that you'll find strength within your adversities.

It's important to recognize that loneliness is a universal human experience, and as a man, acknowledging and understanding your feelings can lead to personal growth and self-discovery.
DO NOT EMBRACE LONELINESS! There is a 70 + years study from Harvard on happiness and for over 70 years (it is still being studied today), every generation from all walks of life have come to the same conclusion: we are happier when we're around people (friends & family), especially our journey through life with them. This is what we will look back on after we retired and before we leave this world. You all can make up any excuses to cope by stating "we are alone when we come into this world, we will be alone when we die", or you can blame your terrible experiences with other people from your high school days or whatever, but it does not disprove anything from this study or our millions of years of evolution that still makes us all want to feel belong. Improve yourself now by picking something you're interested in, chase after it, make friends and find love along the way before you regret it!

youre right a lot of that stuff is spiritual snobbery and not practical or scientific. its unhealthy to be isolated.

it would be so much better without the rain! It seems, that 90% off all ambient music makers use the rain...i think (just my 2 cents), this is getting annoying. Your music is stunning....it doesn't need to "hide behind the rain". Perhaps you could do two versions of your art pieces (one without the rain)?
