@SublimMedia Would be interesting to see her evolution and messages over her music. In high school we studied some of her messaging with a very progressive professor. Keep those records spinning!
Maybe the first opens up a little bit more than my second but I have to say, it’s like night and day. I was very happy with my press but comparing, there is a huge difference. But a og is always a og!! 😃
Its Joni! One of my favourite artists and Albums. Mine is a reissue remastered by Bernie Grundman. Its fabulous. Not a mofi. I'm ok with that. Good video.
2007 US Remastered by Kevin Gray/Steve Hoffman sounds fantastic. My Bernie Grundman Blue from the 2021 Reprise boxset sounds overly warm to me in my system. Not heard the MoFi but see that it compares favorably to the KG/SH version but is way more expensive. My old original CD sounds like chicken $h!t in comparison! ;)
It would be cool to compare to even more versions and I can imagine that KG cut of it is one of the best sounding. But this has to be the end game for me. 😀
I dident pay anything. This was sent to me for review. But in Sweden it's a 160 dollar box and in the US it's 125 dollar. High price for a great product. Is it worth the money? Up to the buyer! =)
Labels have been milking cows since the dawn of records. What I really like is when labels push the milk forward in quality and not just wash it out. Take the Tom Waits reissues that just was released. Sounds like crap. And the Beatles stereo box.But I agree that we all have to decide where to put our money. There are great reissues of Joni out there and no shortage of original pressings so there is something for everyone I guess! =) Thanks for watching and commenting!! //Jonas
Thanks for this! A time machine for me back to my high school days! You rock!
@@kirmussaudio7578 it’s a beauty for sure!

I would love to hear and compare it with a Bernie cut. Imagine it will get closer than my og 🤣
@@SublimMedia I'll do a story on my Ig and tag you in. My system is very humble. Same song, CD then vinyl.

@@SublimMedia u got it for free then
I have the album on the CD box set that came out 2 or 3 year's ago. The LP sounds so much better.
It’s the same with streaming. It’s soul less in lack of better words. The warmth of the vinyl really is the way to experience the music.
@@SublimMedia word.
I have original sounds great not paying crazy money for hype one steps.they are milking the cow again
