Ah thanks so much pal, was great seeing you and I am really happy you like my games room. It is absolutely my happy place!
@@TheHobbyLodge My pleasure my good friend.
That's a stunning space ❤
Great room tour, it's heartwarming to see the passion for their wonderfully geeky hobbies in every single nook and cranny of the room.
Thanks man, yep I am a proper nerd and do try to make every part of the room have something interesting in it, cheers for watching!
🤘
What a cosy space.
I can imagine how amazing it would be to watch live gameplay of board games! Great use of the Amiga Work bench, too.
I'm looking forward to seeing your game tour to Alex, I can't wait to hear some music through the audio setup!
😃 🎶
Thank you, yes I love it in there very cosy indeed. I have done a bunch of live games before so there will be many more come. Thanks again for watching
Amazing room. A real room of passion
@@davidh224 Thanks David
Thank you and cheers for watching, without a doubt it is a place I love
I watched this at about 1 this morning when I couldn't sleep
What an awesome room and set up. I love the D&D stuff too Alex. We started playing again 2 years with the lads. It was great to introduce another generation to it. You should definitely give it a go.
Martin has (he may have removed it) a projector he uses for D&D stuff which looks amazing.
Thanks for sharing 👍👍
Oh mate I’d love to get into it again but I’ll be billy no mates playing it on my own 🤣 Maybe I’ll have to get round to his house and play but unfortunately it’s a good 3 hour trip.
Glad you enjoyed mate
hehe you are all welcome to come round for a game night! Cheers for watching and hopefully you got some sleep :D
Brilliant game room. My mate is a Warhammer guy and has a studio to paint figures, I sent him this video. Awesome stuff as usual Alex!
@@ukxvc That’s awesome thanks mate 😎👍
Thanks man, and cheers for passing the video on, have a dedicated painting or gaming space is great to have, just means you can get hobby done without any fuss.
Although it's mostly very different tastes to my own, it's fantastic to see and you can admire the passion and dedication
Love how every inch of space has been used, that's exactly like me, when space is limited you need that mindset of "how can I exploit that space"
Great room, really fancy one of these garden rooms👍
@@retroimportgamer513 It’s great to see something a bit different isn’t it and Martin is such a lovely guy, thanks James 😎👍
Cheers pal, I absolutely a sweat the asset type of guy so yes I try to make every spot useful and interesting, cheers for watching!
What a cracking games lodge. Martin is such a nice guy too. Great video buddy.
@@8BitBoyUK He is such a top bloke, thanks mate 👍👍
Thank you mate, cheers for watching!
What amazing space, things dreams are made of. Great video mate.
@@RetroSK3L3 Thanks mate
Cheers pal, you will have your own one day, you already have the space just need to stay well and a piece at a time.
Been lucky enough to have visited Martin's a few times and it is truly an amazing space the best bit of it is how it makes you feel when you go in there which is hard to describe unless you visit it, really is a great space to spend time in
Brilliant video mate 👍
@@ewstargamer until you see it in real life it’s hard to imagine, but I think it’s looks great in the video.
Thanks Alex
Always welcome pal, thank you
great chat about the miniatures.
I think Alex and I could have chatted all day but actually we didn't have much time, perhaps he and I can do a follow up :D thanks for watching!
This was awesome! Great video. Amazing room. Fantastic fun to watch. 😁👍
@@TheGameroomAwakens Thank you 😎👍
Thank you!
When I get myself a bigger house, this is the template I’m going to use for my own games room 💯 Outstanding work 👍👍
@@josephkarl2061 That’s awesome, all the best with your game room. 😎👍
That is cool man good luck with it and don't rush, much of the fun is the building, trying things and changing things until you find what works for you. Thanks for watching!
It's always interesting to see other people's computer/arcade/games room. I love my computer room but looking at others I really need to tidy up and decorate mine! But it would take a week to move everything out so it could be decorated lol.
Thank you, I feel you sometimes it just feels like to much work but it can be worth it in the end. I have had to gut the place out a couple of times to make some big moves and mid way through i always regret it but then push on to the end and enjoy it. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the encouragement, I guess it's a new year and one I really need to tidy up this place as I really do enjoy stepping into the man cave.
Very impressive setup!
Thank you, and thanks for watching!
Been watching Martin for years but never knew the extent of the collection and amazing layout. Well done both, amazing video.
@@GoodwinsPlace Thanks Graig, Martin is s a lovely bloke he really is.
Cheers bud, glad you liked the look around.
Great to see something different not just rows of games that never get played I certainly don't have the patience for hand painting & the Alex's comment about no rules for each of ours mancave was really touching I only have a small (ish) 12x8 foot shed with my stuff inside but its my small space & love the time I spend in there as does my son.
Absolutley does not matter the size of the space it is about making it unique to you and your needs, thanks so much for watching
@TheHobbyLodge I have short video on my channel showing it.
Ah, UA-cam works as it should for once and recommends your new channel. Even though I'm not a console collector (more of a 'micro' and big box PC collector) I've always found your uploads a "pleasant way to pass the time". 😀
Good to see you back at the coal face.
I'm very privileged to visit and enjoy The Hobby Lodge on a regular basis....... It really is a great space
@@nerdygeezer78 It’s something else it really is, thanks for watching Lee 😎👍
Indeed bud, and it is always a pleasure! thanks man
No game room tour is complete without a sugary creamy pit stop! Very nice collection there. Just got back from Arcade Club Leeds myself. Had a blast. My home built Retropie cabinet just doesn't stand up to the real thing. It's almost there but just doesn't have the depth of sound, the brightness of the CRT, the vector beam, the overall feel of it. Interestingly I was getting better scores and improving further on the real hardware. If I was to get my first arcade machine it might have to be Asteroids Deluxe - it just looks awesome with the background mirror effect. I was really getting into the zone on that.
Martins hobbylodge is perfect, love how everything in there is used and what he and family love. Wish i had the patience to get into war hammer and be able to paint
@@steve36207 Me too it’s such a cool game, thanks mate 😎👍
Thanks mate, yes it can be quite time consuming but if you can do little bits here and there it eventually builds up, for me painting is a complete escape from everything so it can be a nice relaxation tool. Thanks for watching!
@TheHobbyLodge my boy is into mart buddy but his painting skills are shocking 🤣
@@steve36207 haha mate we are all shocking when we start, tell him to keep at it and it will come... keep your paint thin and do multiple layers, good luck!
What an amazing gaming space! It has so much to see and so much character.
@@NottsGamer It really does have so much character and charm, so much to see too I felt I needed more time. Thanks for watching Rob 😎👍
Cheers bud, you know you are always welcome for a visit when you are back to 100%
@TheHobbyLodge Yeah I'd love to pop over once im back up and running, so to speak.
Rumour has it Martin is still in the corner of his lodge trying to remove that tape😂
Brilliant vid Alex, Martin's lodge is absolutely awesome. I could move in to a place like that. If only I had such a workplace🙂
hehe I could have picked any tape but no I picked the one that clearly had to many mince pies over Christmas and had become wedged in that rack!
@TheHobbyLodge I must know, what game was it? 😁
Great video and I love his setup it’s inspiring 👍
Thank you and thanks for watching!

Great to see you friend ! AL’s arcade channel is #1 ! Bless you mate !
@@jumpingeneral Your too kind mate 😎🤜
Al is a legend!
Totally agree mate, every games room is special, absolutely love looking around someone else's room.
Incidentally yours is looking rather awesome, I think I'm going to have to get one of those posters you have, they look so cool.
Used to love the citadel miniatures, sadly mine are long gone.
Again I agree, that's definitely the wrong 8bit computer 💩.
An awesome room.
hehe thanks for watching, yes I am a Commodore man through and through but I do dabble with the Speccy every now and then :D
Such a nice room!😊
@@mtshark7 Thanks Mark 😎👍

THAT IS AMAZING ROOM WOW THAT IS LIKE RMC CAVE ITS A MUSEUM ID LOVE A SPACE LIKE THAT HOPE IT S INSURED GREAT VIDEO ALEX
That’s very kind of you, thanks Jonny 😎👍
@Alsarcade you need to do these video all the time I'd sit watch them all day it take me back to my childhood and us that don't have lot of money to get these caves or retro rooms it's special seeing someone else s room thankyou so much to both of you 💗
Thanks man, I can help but read the last part of that comment in a gangsters voice "HOPE IT IS INSURED" :D thanks so much for watching!
Just flicked on the old UA-cam and up pops a new Al's Arcade video. Good timing mate. Watching right now.
@@bobbus_74 bless ya Bob, enjoy
@Alsarcade what a fantastic lodge and wonderful use of space. I'd never leave if that was mine!
cheers for checking it out!
Really great space thanks for sharing, makes me wish I could 3d print, I will stick with my hammer and chisel👍😎🍺😂.
2:46 Sid James has returned from the grave.
@@HappyCodingZX 😂
He even brought me a cream cake, very tasty. Thanks for watching!
@@TheHobbyLodge Ooh, saucy!
I've tried to pull Martin over to the Speccy Side, but he just won't listen 😂
@@GenerationPixel haha 😂
You might not get me over to the speccy ( I do dabble every now and then) but you are the reason I will be checking out JRPG's this year! Cheers pal
