That was an epic road trip and a half, you must have been shattered! Talk about dedication, respect is due 😁 Did make me laugh seeing your cozy van, although the bucket in the corner kept distracting me hahaa 🤢😂
You can’t beat a good road trip mate! 💯 I did a few back in Lockdown, roads were empty… rebel that I am! 🤣 I threw one up on my YT channel back then for the crack! I remember when you guys from UKVAC went on that road trip for the PCB’s, unfortunate circumstances but a video that you just won’t find else where… those hauls nowadays are super rare. Another smasher Brother 💪😎 I’m going to go to the live stream and “Carry On” PUN INTENDED! 😁🤩👊
Great trip, Alex - congratulations :) I remember going (in September) to pick up a Tiger-Heli cabinet (I'm from Poland). It wouldn't fit in my station wagon, so I rented a small van and set off on a sunny Saturday (970 kilometers/600 miles round trip). It's in a rare Grand Products UVSD-19/25 cabinet (UVSD-19 vertical). Finds like this don't happen here in Poland - this isn't the US :) I bought it really cheap - converted to pounds, it came out to about £190. I would have even gone for the monitor alone (Wells Gardner K7000) - and I got everything :) Everything works, the Tiger-Heli PCB is original, and the monitor has beautiful, juicy colors and is in perfect condition - no burn-in. It needs a little work to restore it, but it's a pleasure. The rental of a small van + fuel came to (after conversion) about 140 pounds, so the total came to £330. I listened to 80s/90s music on the radio the whole way and a smile didn't leave my face for even 1 second ;)

Epic journey and an epic haul Alex. Looking forward to seeing what's in all the boxes, plenty cool stuff in this one I like Major Title, cracking golf game in the vein of Turfmasters, only ever played the SNES version though 👍

I hope you made a nice games pillow out of some spare PCBs?! Congrats on the haul and looking forward to some live stream plays hopefully! Nice job on that driving mission 👍
Great haul, I watched the livestream unboxings you did the other week, nice to see some old PCBs in circulation. Ive only dipped a toe into arcade stuff with a couple of Supergun'ed MVS. Lukemorse1 videos may help with fault finding / repairs in some of those temperamental boards you picked up. 😎✌️
That cosmic alien looks so cool, look forward to see it mounted on the wall. Awesome huge bundle of pcb's. Look forward to finding out what they are. Could become a new rabbit hole for me 😂.
Awesome video and some cracking pcb's. Wow that was quite a journey, van life for the win haha. 😂 That RoboCop marquee is super cool and will look awesome in a light box. Quite a rare find especially on these shores I'd imagine. I only remember playing it on a chip shop jamma cab back in the day. The Major Title games are pretty sought after as they can be converted into R-Type. Looking forward to the live stream. 😀
