I used to use hair rigs a lot but caught a lot of smaller carp in the lake but now tried this and instantly started catching bigger fish 👌🎣brill rig Deffinetly using again at other waters
See I use a slide sinker, barrel swivel , size 4 to hook with corn or bread. I don't throw extra bait in and I catch doubles all the time. so simple and effective!
So I fish this exclusively. Works with all kinds of baits. Pop-ups, sinkers, snowmen, wafters or straight corn. I only add the split shot if I fish a single pop-up. Otherwise don't bother. What I don't do is add any putty, kickers or silicone tubing. Just not needed in my opinion. Caught me my PB of 48,5lbs this way.

my go to rig all the time...I modify it slightly but always use it and its great
My top winter rig
Nice job. I always use popup corn with the kd, had some decent results. tight lines
I use it as one of my all year rigs.

what do you tie to the end of it a link loop or swivel?
thts not right is it? thought tht the shot or putty had to be layed flat with hook

Why is there so much putty on it? There's no need
