Love old books bro. I didn't get any that old in my book unit last year. But I bought over 8000 books on 65 bookcases in a 20x20 for $300 and wound up making over $6000. In fact I've still got about 100+ vintage books left that I am still selling for $5 a Piece to this day.

Jack and MIke, That Newspaper article was the Hindenburgh Disaster in Lakehurst ,NJ LakeHurst Naval Air Station not too far from where I grew up May 6, 1937 was the day The Dirigible caught fire on landing. I knew one of the men who was securing the Airship when it exploded, as an old man. He was our neighbor in Lakewood, NJ. I asked him what he did when it happened and he said, "I ran like Hell". Really wonderful old stuff in that Ledger. Cheers, Frederick"Rik" Spector P.S. I thought everyone knew about that Disaster, there was a news video from that time with the radio reporter almost unable to speak except to say as the Airship crashed"Oh, the Humanity!". With that disaster any hope for dirigibles as a means of passenger transportation etc. went up in flames, probably forever.
Hi Jack is this the best locker you have ever had. Those silver spoons with the points on the top they are used for eating grapefruit. They were in a big box, I meant to tell you when I commented last time.Great video.
I was watching the news and they had a story about a Auction house that deals with only rare books. It is called GWS Auctions, they are located in Hollywood. 😊🌹🦋🌹😊

Man are those old books ever cool. I have the desire to rescue old books, although have to refrain I am just happy you will find good homes for them. Any time I travel I tried to find off the beaten track used books stores. While away the hours in old text
13:49 That ledger is awesome. It's a pre-WWII Junk Journal! In the right venue it'll sell SO fast. 15:36 Letter scale - the good kind. i still use one. (fairly accurate even for jewelry and the batteries can't die)
WOW, The great suff keeps coming and coming. I'm so jelly you guy's are so inspirational you make me feel like trying to do this. I know big scores come in time and experience. But yeah great video's. man hope to see more. And hope y'all get those certain items checked out. Stay safe and stay healthy.
Whatever you do don't tape any of those books back together. They will become a stack of worthless papers if you do. Get them checked out professionally if you can. I would if I where you. One of those books could pay for the whole unit. Stay safe and stay healthy .
The wooden inlay picture, if from Germany could be collectable. They were, one artist in particular (?), very popular with the military in late '70s early '80s.

The amount of $ that person spent on sports cards must have been incredible. I've never seen so many cards. And you probably need to look at all of them to see if there is that ONE card that is worth thousands!

Please tell me how much you would take for the old Catholic Bible?
I've gotta admit "Locker Nuts " is an awesome channel. Its hard to believe how much you can learn watching fellow youTubers. My channel is called Auction Up and if you have time, check it out after you are done watching the video.

Old native American bibles and different bibles can be huge money it be to see you find some books that are worth thousands or a million dollar book
Cherokee Bibles especially can be $$$$$ English language Bibles were the most common book in the English-speaking world.
Some books are handmade in the covers So no 2 books would ever be a like
You tell it is a first by the pages or by keywords that people know what to look for
gorilla glue it back
Please wear gloves when touching the old and likely rare books.
11:14 Amen Mike!
