18 months for your Dark Night of the Soul?!? Did you document what that was like?? I’m on my fourth DNTOS phase in my life and this one has been going on for almost 3 months after being triggered by a death in my family. My autumn started just before that. I’m definitely in winter for sure. How did you get by day by day? Some moments I feel like I’m feeling the suffering of all humanity, other moments I’m grieving for my brother, other moments I’m feeling my own emotional struggles (co-dependent tendencies, attachment to thought, etc). Listening to others insight while they’ve traveling into their DNOTS helps me in my own. More advice is welcome!
Stephanie Troha honestly, at the start ( sounds like it’s where you are ) it’s best to pick up a daily practice - sadhana we call it in the yoga world.
