Awesome...toldja....once in hand....it says "throw me"!! Oblige.
They turned out great!
Nice. I like redemption stories.
Great save.
Awesome to see them in their natural habitat. Too bad their was no little ones. Must've been a hard winter.😃
Thanks! Haha...
Improvise and adapt… to overcome! Well done!
Cavity is the word you were searching for. We all learn so much from your videos and projects. BigThank You. 👍🇨🇦👍
Thanks for watching! Yes, that was probably it...
BADASS ....I want 1 !!!
Cool. In a variety of ways.
In regards to the getting the point up. You did the very thing that I was going to type about in my comment.
I don’t think you can argue with the end result as a throwing axe.. now someone will buy one and think they can throw like that right out of the gate though 😂 looks like you could keep an axe around for home defense! 😬😂
Hay mate just I hope your ok at this time.
Also I like your doing your best for a small business.
Jamie.
I appreciate it, doing well
Nice
Great job! I like the longer eyes, especially for a throwing hatchet. They will hold up very well
So I’m commenting at 8:28 in the video. My personal opinion and again I haven’t seen the rest of the video yet but sometimes the easiest and quickest way is the way you think will be harder and longer. I’ll edit my comments if needed in the end. As for the project….I think it’s a great idea to repurpose these!
Winner, winner chicken dinner
Are you part werewolf cuz it seems like just the other day you had a goatee
Not that I know of...
Can't put my finger on why but the extra long (wide?) eye appeals to me on some level. Maybe gives the appearance that that part of handle is stronger? I don't know. But what I do know is, while it's not a feature you'd want/need on every axe, there may be certain types that it could be useful.
Been wanting to ask for over a year, is there something wrong with the base of your anvil? I’ve never seen that much chain on one. I’ve got 10ft and 2 magnets on mine, it’s quiet with zero ring.
Nice work around with the axes by the way.
Thanks! No, that's just about the best use for a set of snow chains these days...😁
@@FireCreekForge yeah I guess you don’t see snow these days like you use to up north.
Pleased you were able to make something of them, wonder how they’d have looked if you’d gone the other way and forge welded the split shut? Regards from Down Under.
How long until these are available for purchase? I would love to have one.
I'll try to have them by early next week. I'll notify on the community section here, and send out an email to the list. You can sign up for that on the front page of my website so you don't miss it. firecreekforge dot com
Thanks!
@@FireCreekForge I'll go sign up now. Thanks for answering, man.
@@johncarter9399 you bet, thanks
@@FireCreekForge I just scored one of those wonderful axes.:) I can hardly wait to get a chance to throw it. Happy day.:)
@@johncarter9399 thanks a bunch!
It kind of looks like you might have thrown a ax or two
Actually, not really! I'm just learning, but once you figure out the range it seems fairly simple. I just used some of the better throws for the video..
