The standard double mattress size in Australia is about 3cm wider than IKEA's double mattress. Do you think it could still fit on the MALM with the LONSET slats? From the video, it looks like the slats will let the mattress just sit on top, rather than inside the bed frame, so I'm hoping the sizing won't matter too much
Each Lonset takes 20 minutes. Each set of 2 storage boxes takes about 15 minutes. And the bed frame 30 minutes. Overall it takes 1:40 h:mm. Not considering the unpacking
I only assembled this for a customer, but I think this bed is a good choice for someone who wants to keep it simple and have ample storage under the bed.

Yes it will. That’s my opinion though. IKEA beds are usually a bit bigger than IKEA mattresses!
