Yvette was more than a "starlet" she appeared in many movies and TV shows. She wrote a film for TV which was produced by Aaron Spelling in 1974. She co wrote and co produced the movie Obsessive Love in 1984, and she was nominated for 3 Golden Globes over her career.
I went to an estate sale like that but the owner was so alive. She was tickled seeing people enjoy everything. I bought one of her amazing paintings and she gave me the other that I couldn't afford. My most prized possessions.
Being an artist myself the tour was so enchanting. So vibrant and full of life. Once more you've gone above and beyond to give your viewers an entertaining video.😀
Oh my goodness her house is GORGEOUS! Those hanging lanterns are everything. It's so eclectic ❤ I've never been to an estate sale but have always wanted to go to one. I get so caught up that by the time a see a sign for one or hear about it it's already over lol.
I went to an estate sale recently for an elderly couple who was selling everything to tour the world and it was so fun. They’re some of the best ways to get good but affordable furniture too!
My family and I have been doing estate sales since I was a little kid. We have a ton of fun setting them up and it's always so interesting figuring out how other people lived, who they were and where they hid their treasures. It's like opening up a time capsule. We do our best to stage all of their belongings respectfully, so we can try to honor who they were and what they loved. I have bought something from every sale we have done, and its fun reminiscing and remembering who/which home they came from over the years!
I am lucky enough to know two different people who put on estate sales, they always tell me what's upcoming, let me prepurchase larger items early and remind me about the end of sale bargain times!! It's so interesting to see a person's life spread out before you in their prized possessions. You really feel like you get to know them
That bracelet is STUNNING! You found such a beautiful piece! I would have gone there just to tour her house alone! She had so much stuff. You can't take it with you like they say. I did like her style.
wow, that house was a dream!!! I love estate sales, even if I'm only going to check out the house/neighborhood. It is sad to see so many personal items with price tags on them, I try to save what I can, and pass on to those who will use/appreciate the item! Thank you for sharing :) LOVE the bracelet!!!
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: I love these short form videos! This is such a fun concept, I would love to see more estate sale content. Definitely popping in to the next one I see in my neighborhood.
Wow! Her home was spectacular! She had great taste and it was beautiful having a glimpse at her amazing pieces. Thank you for the quick tour! Love the bracelet that you bought, such a beautiful memento.
The guest house alone was beautiful! I can't imagine what the main mansion looked like. I love estate sales and finding old gems like that bracelet. What a life it must have had before you! Awesome video :)
I loved the tour, would have liked to have seen more. I remember her from the old movies "Where the boys are" Connie Francis sang the theme song; Where the boys are someone waits for me... Now Im feeling like to need to watch this oldie by goodie in her honor poor Melanie, scorn by one of boys I think she was "with child". She was one of my favorites from that era. What a beautiful bracelet you got! I love it.
Thank you for the video on Yvette Mimuex's estate sale. What a piece of nostalgia for me. I remember her from my childhood on tv shows and movies. I did not know what happened to her and it was wonderful to see that she had many successful careers after acting.
What a beautiful home! I love that there was so much color, you can see that Yvette loved to be surrounded by beautiful things, and was as vibrant as her surroundings. Thank you for the tour, you chose an exquisite piece!
I love estate sales! Lots of my friends get creeped out whenever I say that I bought something from one though.. But I just think of it the same as buying something from a reseller! You can find lots of really great items!
I go to estate sales all the time but I live in Montana and they aren’t that fancy. Not even close. What a great experience and the bracelet is beautiful.
That's so amazing! I love what fun ideas you are coming up with for videos these days! This one was so cool. Congrats on your find. Rest in Peace Yvette.
Wow!! I’ve always steered away from estate sales mainly because I felt it would be eerie, but there was something so beautiful about others being able to appreciate her things long after her passing. Much better than being put in a box in a closet somewhere.
I’ve been too many many estate cells it’s a beautiful way to honor those who’ve gone from this earth by giving their beloved possessions a second life also helping their loved ones with expenses this beautiful lady I’m sure doesn’t have issues with that but it’s overwhelming in a time of grief for loved ones and you were doing them a true favor by purchasing and helping to clear out loved ones belongings. It was a great comfort when my grandmother passed away to know that people would be using and enjoying the things that we just simply didn’t have room to enjoy. And yes it’s so interesting to see how other people lived and their lifetime of collecting and enjoying estate sales are magical I got my dining room table that would be thousands of dollars for only $300 and I just love love love it
I love estate sales, yard sales and church rummage sales. I once got a pair of diamond earrings at a church rummage sale for 25 cents. Yes you read that correctly. They were worth $900 buck and when I was very financially strapped I had to sell them I got $400 for them. It is easy to find gold and silver jewellery at yard sales and rummage sales because people do not know how to look for the marks or the marks have been damaged.
I absolutely looovvvee estate sales! You can find so many “gems” at them! My grandma bought me an instanced gold wedding set for cheap, because the people thought it was fake. And, we have been so lucky to find some really amazing things at them! Love them! 🥰 some of my favorites in this one, were- the jewelry, the multicolored chandeliers, the art, and the dinnerware set. I sooo love your bracelet!
My husband and I love going to estate sales. There was this one in a very rich home and this lady loved expensive clothes. I was so fortunate that she was my size and height. I'm 4'11" . She had so many clothes that they has to have 2 separate sales. I got a whole new wardrobe of high end clothes.
many years ago my aunt and uncle lived in an apartment in The Valley. many who lived there worked in the industry; Miss Mimuex was one. there was a huge pool but my brother, Stan, was afraid of the water. he absolutely refused to go in...enter Yvette...a twinkle in her eye and a radiant smile; she crooked her finger and he flew into her arms. they swam for an hour. even at three, Stan had an eye for the ladies:D
Hope, why are your videos sooo short!!??? I get so happy when you post and I never get enough of your videos 😢 please make long ones even if it’s about nothing or I know that this isn’t your typical vlog style but how about “A DAY IN THE LIFE” that would be so fun 🤩 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
I love going to estate sales. I haven't been to any since covid. So many emotions run through my mind while perusing the items for sale. Estate sales are reinforcements that you can't take it with you. She had some beautiful items. A wise man one said "Do your giving while your living so you're knowing where it's going." I pray the benefits are going to the family.
Loved this house. She had beautiful items. I wonder what she paid for the house back in the day. The bracelet you got was so unique. Great video. Thx&see ya😁
This is a such a beautiful home decorated with incredible taste . It's a shame it is all going to auction instead of a loved one . This whole environment was personalized beautifully . It's an incredible Paradise . Obviously a person with eclectic and special taste for quality . I hope she enjoyed all of her lovely pocessions
Omg now that is real art 😍 and that’s JUST the guest house omg I can’t even imagine the real house . And btw that bracelet is stunning, keep it and pass it down if you have kids and it’ll keep growing in value especially with who owned it , omg hope I’m so jelly but you honestly deserve this , as much as you help and give back 💗 keep making amazing content , ❤️
What gets me about stuff like this is that when you're alive you think you own things, everything is about what is yours, your possessions, your stuff. It's all in your mind, owned by you --- but when you think about it, nothing is owned by you. You just get to use it for a little while, and it WILL be someone else's. Nothing you have is going to stay yours. You will have sometimes strangers, sometimes family/friends rifling through everything you thought was yours, and off it goes. It is sobering to think of it that way.
I actually went to my own estate sale for the house that I live in with my parents before my father passed. And i was actually able to get somethings before they started to sell everything. Like a couple of the old time books that I had to sell
This one looked fascinating like a museum. I’ve been to an estate sale but it was really sad. Some’s life for sale. There was even an I love you post it on the fridge
Been to one estate sale, and the person supervising kept reassuring people that the owners were still alive and that they just moved to an assisted living villa. I got an ornate egg for free! I keep any spare change I get in there :)
That house looks like a dream! All the colors and the out door space, my goodness! I actually have been to an estate sale...nothing like that. But I did get one of my favorite pairs of jeans (when I was in high school) for .25 cents....wore those Levi's until the holes in the knees became too large and then I cut them into shorts and wore those until the crotch ripped....good times! xoxox
*advice... I get a safety chain put on all my bracelets, so if the clasp comes apart my bracelet will stay on my wrist. Just check it out, that is an amazing piece of jewlry.
Super cool and beautiful place! I go to estate sales most weekends. Nothing that elaborate. There is a high end estate sale this weekend close by that I plan to check out though. Wish me luck!!
Oh My God!! This is my dream!! I LOVE Bel Air and that house is insanely beautiful. I'm so jealous that you got to go inside and walk around :) That bracelet is to die for

Finally, a house in LA I would actually love to live in! That is insanely gorgeous
Seriously!! It had so much character!
Ikr if only I had 49,000,000 lying around
Right?!
Girl we are gonna need a full length video of cool estate sales !
Being an artist myself the tour was so enchanting. So vibrant and full of life. Once more you've gone above and beyond to give your viewers an entertaining video.😀
Agreed, I'm an artist too, the interiors & decor!😍

That is incredible! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I love history. And everyone’s life is full of their history. Really special. ❤️

It's so interesting to see a person's life spread out before you in their prized possessions. You really feel like you get to know them
I think I need friends like that! lol
Yes, so interesting!!
That bracelet is STUNNING! You found such a beautiful piece! I would have gone there just to tour her house alone! She had so much stuff. You can't take it with you like they say. I did like her style.
Very eclectic. She surrounded herself with everything she loved. She must have been a very content person because her home screams happy.
wow, that house was a dream!!! I love estate sales, even if I'm only going to check out the house/neighborhood. It is sad to see so many personal items with price tags on them, I try to save what I can, and pass on to those who will use/appreciate the item! Thank you for sharing :) LOVE the bracelet!!!

I resell vintage decor so I go to estate sales every weekend. Its always an adventure.

Oh my god. What a house! Probably the best I've ever seen
Thank you for the video on Yvette Mimuex's estate sale. What a piece of nostalgia for me. I remember her from my childhood on tv shows and movies. I did not know what happened to her and it was wonderful to see that she had many successful careers after acting.
her house giving off Bali vibes & aesthetic somehow, it's really cool knowing it's in the state!
Ugh Yvette knew how to live. I dream of being able to decorate like that.
Love the bracelet you bought! Beautiful estate!
What a beautiful home! I love that there was so much color, you can see that Yvette loved to be surrounded by beautiful things, and was as vibrant as her surroundings. Thank you for the tour, you chose an exquisite piece!
that bracelet is gorgeous !!!!! onfe day I will afford one, glad you got it as you will appreciate it and the story attached to it.
Ok this may be my favourite video of yours yet. So fun. I would have loved snooping around there. Love love love the bracelet. Good choice!!
I have never been to an estate sale, but that was just incredible! Love the bracelet you got Hope.
Wow that house was so beautiful. And I just love the bracelet you bought! ♥️
I love estate sales!
Lots of my friends get creeped out whenever I say that I bought something from one though.. But I just think of it the same as buying something from a reseller! You can find lots of really great items!
We love estate sales. We've gone to many older famous actors and actresses and have enjoyed a peak into their lives. Thank you for the video
The kind of estate sales my hubby drags me to involves tractors, race cars, or parts for tractors and race cars🤷♀️
😂😂😂 Don’t let Tyler find out about those!!!
Wow! Lucky! That was AMAZING!
Wow!! I’ve always steered away from estate sales mainly because I felt it would be eerie, but there was something so beautiful about others being able to appreciate her things long after her passing. Much better than being put in a box in a closet somewhere.
sometimes a estate sale is someone who is just downsizing. I used to work for a estate sale company.
10 years ago I bought my first kitchen aid mixer it’s from the 50’s. It’s great for cakes and mashed potatoes 😉
Omg now that is real art 😍 and that’s JUST the guest house omg I can’t even imagine the real house . I want a shame they didn’t make it into a museum for her that would be lovely
Wear that beautiful bracelet every day! Thanks Hope this was really awesome to take us along!
I actually went to my own estate sale for the house that I live in with my parents before my father passed. And i was actually able to get somethings before they started to sell everything. Like a couple of the old time books that I had to sell
Estate sales are the best!!! Nothing like going into someone else's house and looking around. So much fun!!
This one looked fascinating like a museum. I’ve been to an estate sale but it was really sad. Some’s life for sale. There was even an I love you post it on the fridge
I've been to numerous estate sales but definitely never to one on that level of grandeur....... unbelievable! 😳

That’s one of the more unique and beautiful homes I’ve seen
Been to one estate sale, and the person supervising kept reassuring people that the owners were still alive and that they just moved to an assisted living villa. I got an ornate egg for free! I keep any spare change I get in there :)

We not only go to estate sales, we buy abandoned storage units. What we can't flip on eBay we save for our 2 huge $1 yard sales.
*advice... I get a safety chain put on all my bracelets, so if the clasp comes apart my bracelet will stay on my wrist. Just check it out, that is an amazing piece of jewlry.
Yvette was one of my idols as a teen. So cool.
I’m loving these short videos! What a sweet little experience! Thanks for sharing it with us.
