RESORT TOUR: INTUROTEL CALA AZUL

Video shows the grounds and facilities of the Inturotel Cala Azul resort in Cala D'Or in Mallorca/Majorca Spain. Video was filmed in early October.
The video was filmed early morning (hence no one at the pool).
The resort is built on rock around ocean coves. There are two beaches nearby, one is a few minute walk. The best feature of the resort is the swimming platform into the cove shown at the end of the video. It's excellent. I posted other videos just of the swim platform, so check them out.
When we stayed there, I'd say 95% of the guests were German speaking. I didn't see any obvious Americans. Not all of the Spanish staff speak English, but enough do, so its not an issue. There were lot of families and multi-generational families. We did the breakfast/dinner meal plan and it was fine. Breakfast good, dinner so-so. The lunch restaurant (shown in the video) was excellent and not expensive, food really good (grilled chicken and burgers), and offers great views.
The big negative of the resort is parking. By mid-afternoon all the parking spots are taken, so if you go on tours, I recommend to go in the morning and be back early afternoon. Showing up at 5 pm or 6 pm would be a disaster.
The resort closes up for the winter completely.
