Eucharistic Miracles

While we know by faith that Jesus is truly present in the Most Blessed Sacrament even though the appearance of bread and wine remain, sometimes the Lord allows his physical presence to be unveiled by granting a further miracle. Sister Agnes Clare describes the Eucharistic miracle that happened in Lanciano, Italy in the year 750 when at the words of consecration, the priest witnessed the Host turn into flesh and the wine turn into Blood. May this miracle help increase our faith that the same reality happens at each Mass, even when our eyes cannot see it.
