Has anyone ever noticed when an important Klaine scene happens, someone is usually wearing red pants? Examples being literally this scene, or when Blaine transferred schools, and when Blaine moved out. It’s so stupid but I just noticed it lol
This scene is well written but can we acknowledge how wonderful an actor Darren Criss is? He gives the situation a deep and meaningful purpose, it's amazing
Y'all seriously sleeping on Chris Colfers acting tho. Sure in this scene Darren really shines and his ability is displayed but I'll just leave a reminder Chris Colfers acting is really good too :?
Darren is a far superior actor, he brings emotions to his face to effortlessly and his face and eyes are so transparent, may be it's just me but I don't see such emotions on Chris Colfer's face. Like when they are singing a duet Darren always looks at Chris while Chris mostly keeps rolling his eyes while singing.
I think its really interesting how the beginning of the relationship Kurt was the scrawny insecure one and Blaine was the confident boxer. Now the roles are reversed, with Kurt being more confident and in shape and Blaine letting himself go and being insecure because hes so use to sort of being Kurts protector, now he feels like Kurt doesn’t need him anymore. There relationships always had the best dynamics.
assyrianprincess Not really. Kurt was kinda badass at first and he wasn’t entirely insecure/scrawny...his personality was just uptight sometimes. Blaine was definitely the Yoda-man though...but like every married couple, the love-passion you hold at the beginning doesn’t always last. It may not be for every single married couple, but the majority of the times you’d end up arguing to death.
Francis Rienzo I agree. It’s a great example of two people who have a passionate relationship with each other at the beginning, end up getting married, and then become the argue-all-day-long married couple 😂
People change and grow, even people who are married for a long time, can find that they’re not the same people that they were when they met. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Klaine was a relatively realistic and healthy portrayal of how roles in relationships can change and grow. Cause love isnt enough, a relationship needs honesty, respect, and trust. Not just in romantic relationships but familial and platonic ones too
me too! especially because later on it's kurt who breaks up with him out of the blue... so maybe blaine felt that his fear came true, that one day kurt did indeed wake up and realise he didn't love him anymore
And in the end they realized that they love each other and theyre meant for each other..... Watch this ua-cam.com/video/5i2zNaI7Lrc/v-deo.html They also became parents, Rachel was the surrogate....
Everyone's talking about how good Blaine is and everything. How about Kurt? He is so strong, for himself and Blaine. Kurt is so unappreciated and I hate that.
This scene is golden to me. I understand exactly where Blaine is coming from. I've never been in a relationship like that, but I have depression and anxiety, and fear that if I'm not perfect then people will not care about me anymore. Some people say that Blaine's actions were wrong and his thoughts made him clingy and selfish. I say he is trying to deal with it the only way he thinks he can, by proving himself to be good, like I do. And Kurt in this scene is amazing too. He calls Blaine out on his BS, not with too much hostility and makes him confront the problem Blaine is facing instead of holding it in anymore because he knows it's bad for him. Then he continues by saying he will not apologize for not being helpless, which he never truly was, and when Blaine confides in him his fears, he is understanding and works with him rather than continues accusing him, because that's what you do when you truly love someone. You help them and each other through the tough times, even if you think the problem is ridiculous. If I ever find my soulmate, I wish they will be like Kurt: strong, caring, understanding, and willing to work for us. Love these two! Sorry about the rant
I know what you mean, the first (and so far only) time I've been involved with someone where I wasn't the thin one I felt far too insecure to expose myself to them that way, almost to the point of intimidation - for the same reasons and same problems as you, coupled with a few years of bullies making me very critical about how I look to begin with
I actually do think that Blaine and Kurt are just both pretty handsome... well, I liked Kurt from the first time I saw him, because I loved his open and humorous character xD
I love how mature this scene is. Like Blaine is being very open, honest, and vulnerable and Kurt is reassuring him but also reminding him that he isn't a damsel in distress
In which there is a mature talk about feelings and insecurities! This is what an adult relationship is: TALKING. COMMUNICATING. WORKING THROUGH PROBLEMS. Because that's what a relationship is, you work through problems as they come, they don't solve themselves.
I don't know if it's because I already knew Darren Criss before Glee (go Team Starkid) so I already felt a connection to the character, or because I always relate to the gay couples, but Klaine is, I think, the best couple in Glee. Not because of the "OMG two hot boys singing duets and holding hands!!!" thing, but because the writers really took their time to show every single up and down a relationship goes through, and there weren't really any superficial "high school drama" problems with them, probably because the whole gay thing was such a hurdle already. Genuinely adore these two though, and I think they were written fantastically.
Olivia McDonagh ummmmm i don't think u have watched glee if u think there isn't any "high school drama" in their relationship. Let me map it out for you: they date, kurt cheats but they are still together, kurt moves away and they have a long distance relationship, blaine cheats and they break up, they date again, they get engaged in an incredibly dramatic proposal, they break up bc kirt doesn't think they are mature enough to handle a marriage, they date separately but secretly still love each other, sue sylvester traps them in an elevator and forces them to make out, kurt's date realized that kurt still has feelings for blaine and sends him to "seize the opportunity to reclaim him", kurt dramatically runs to blaine's house and confesses that they still love each other, they date again for a week, then they are convinced to get married with brittany and Santana, then Rachel offers to have their child. THE END!!! THE END OF A HAPPY KLAINE ROMANCE. Please forgive me if i left out any more drama, bur don't say that they didn't go thru a ton of crap bc they most certainly went through a lot more drama than any other relationship in the show except for maybe Finn and Rachel
I cried so much in this episode. Blaine being insecure and so vulnerable especially about his weight was so realistic and the way it affected his feelings towards the relationship between him and Kurt was soooo realistic. They’re both such amazing actors
this conversation was so mature, and i'm happy glee decided to portray insecurities in a relationship. oftentimes, people who feel ashamed around their SO's are too embarrassed to talk about it, but this talk was so raw and vulnerable and made me appreciate blaine and kurt's relationship a lot more.
He did love Blaine, but he gave up :( his love wasn't enough, wasn't strong enough to resist the stress and pressure Kurt was getting from wedding planning, daily petty arguments, and his personal fears that they'll continue to fight until they hate each other that there's no saving their relationship even as just friends. I wish Kurt didn't give in to the pressure when he still loved Blaine.
Darren's acting is incredible. 10 out of motherfucking 10. in fact, make it 11. he makes it so powerful, raw and meaningful, it's unreal. the authenticity and emotional depth is killing me! such genuine good acting and professionalism, I can't even 👍✊✋☝ #actinglikeapro 👌👏👌👏 and let's not forget, Kurt is unforgettable: he's ALWAYS there for his boy. 2:19 "your gonna wake up and realize, you don't love him anymore" Kurt does that in season 6 which was totally out of character I don't know what the writers were thinking
it’s not that kurt didn’t love him, it was more that he was scared of the commitment and took his fear out on blaine. and he genuinely needed a break from blaine
The irony is that on the beginning of season 6 Kurt broke up with Blaine because he realized he didn't want to marry him and lied about not loving him anymore pretending they were still kids.
@@piolmopi9517 how long was it did blaine not see Kurt after the break up and he dated Dave then Kurt return to Lima but how long was it before blaine hadn't seen Kurt
When this episode happened Blaine seemed to so different, it opened the floodgates for anti klaine and anti Blaine fans saying this proves Blaine is toxic. Just because Blaine said he was afraid of Kurt continue to change and get stronger doesn’t mean he wants Kurt to remain weak. He felt like Kurt was too good for him and that Kurt would eventually leave him. Yes it was also an ego thing because Blaine is used to being a top guy or a star and this is a first where he’s a secondary to someone and that someone is his fiancé who used to rely on him. I hate that they broke up before because Blaine cheated, but compared to how much a lot of other couples cheated on each other, Blaine should be able to be forgiven for his mistake. Yes he’s intense but he’s not toxic
I just love their relationship so much. Their love for each other from the begining, even when they are not together as a couple, they still love each other enough to stay in each others life as friends. And I love how they communicate, they say I love you, they say the real things that needs to be said, no ''teen drama fight'', but actual mature adult conversation. Even when they fight they have a mature conversation about it. I love them so so so much.
I love how they wrote and acted this couple in soo many episodes. This has to be a favourite even if it hurts. Finally a couple who has problems and talks them out. It's only so frustrating that even with those two they sometimes forgot that.. I'm looking at you, "All of me"-Ep and 6x1. How is Glee sometimes so brilliant and pretty much groundbreaking and then it's like they just destroy and frankenstein the plot for one scene. How?
This scene called out all the weirdos who are mad that Blaine expressed any emotion or insecurity whatsoever past s2 and wasn‘t the „smooth, suave gay guru who is the stronger one in the power dynamic“ or whatever the fuck. There is no power dynamic, they‘re in s relationship and they both contribute to that by protecting, defending and helping each other. Some people really wanna force some straight dynamic onto them with one being „the man“ and the other „the woman“ and it‘s such bullshit. I feel like this conversation kinda called that out.
I love kurt and the writers kept making his character grow and be strong. I also love Blaine but I dont think the writers necessarily did him any favors. He became weaker and somewhat cartoonish at times. I always loved it when we saw flashes of season 2 Blaine.
For the first time in glee, Kurt is better than Blaine. It makes him feel insecure. But what about Kurt before? When he was the one who was alone, insecure and sitting in the back watching Blaine perform? Uh.
Kurt always was better than Blaine inside he's growing and the strength that was always inside Kurt has came out falculk the writer said that u have two stars dating each other of course there is going to be competition
He did get cheated on when he moved out there. He reached out to Blaine during season 4 because he still loved him. By the end of season 4 you could tell he still loved him. But I think the writers did a great job showing that after infidelities that sometimes the relationship not going to be the same right away. Season 5 Blaine storyline was weird and after this scene Blaine ends up lying to Kurt again about the showcase. Then they are on same page only for Kurt to break it off I think because he was scared. ( hate the writers for that) but end up together in the end. They were endgame. They loved each other through all their flaws. They were on another level then any other glee couple
Whenever a relationship is initially started on someone elses weakness, its always bound to be toxic in some form. Yes, were meant to care for each other; but theres no need for unhealthy power dynamics. I used to have a friend like that who became jealous of me and my ambitions. Jealousy always stems out of some sort of insecurity. Even as I can talk about that past exoerience without resentment for that person, I'm grateful that friendship ended.
if you know me, you know i literally never cry, and this scene makes me BAWL. darren's acting in insane in this and the way he like holds on to kurt so tightly is just so emotional and omg 🥺
All the angry people in the comments about Blaine continues to show me that the Glee writers suck. Blaine obviously is having mental health issues but it was only explored in this one episode so it feels out of place and awkward. They really should have made his mental health issues a central storyline instead of the Klaine breakup in season 6 because it really would have been so much more interesting. Missed opportunity :(
first kurt competed in glee club for solos than in pamela lansbury with elliot and know his own fiance no matter what happens in kurts life he's always fighting for something and blaine needs to realize that
i hate how everyone is talking about top and bottom in this comment section, this scene has absolutely nothing to do with top and bottom, wtf is wrong with you guys????

Kurt always was better than Blaine inside he's growing and the strength that was always inside Kurt has came out falculk the writer said that u have two stars dating each other of course there is going to be competition
Kurt was never insecure he was just afraid of being openly gay
What are you even talking about
I feel like after Kurt moved to NY he's gotten more serious like he doesn't feel the same
Alexa Gonzalez yeah same he is kinda mean to blaine
Yeah he sorta just lost that compassion and sweetness to him and it just pisses me off
He did get cheated on when he moved out there.
I agree, but I think it was good for him. He’s more confident and independent now. I hate how Blaine is making that out to be a bad thing.
@@idc4163 thank you
That "okay" was so sweet and kind it made me cry
Whenever a relationship is initially started on someone elses weakness, its always bound to be toxic in some form.
Yes, were meant to care for each other; but theres no need for unhealthy power dynamics.
I used to have a friend like that who became jealous of me and my ambitions. Jealousy always stems out of some sort of insecurity.
Even as I can talk about that past exoerience without resentment for that person, I'm grateful that friendship ended.
Wow, just wow. How many of us have felt like Blaine? How wonderful it was to have Kurt embrace him.
Blaine and Kurt.. Blurt as i like to think of them always ...ALWAYS make me go awww
It's actually Klaine.
We can see that they are crazy in love with each other
Not really no
if you know me, you know i literally never cry, and this scene makes me BAWL. darren's acting in insane in this and the way he like holds on to kurt so tightly is just so emotional and omg 🥺
Like Kurt is genuinely trying to be there for Blaine right now because he’s been exactly where Blaine is
this is an amazing scene
All the angry people in the comments about Blaine continues to show me that the Glee writers suck. Blaine obviously is having mental health issues but it was only explored in this one episode so it feels out of place and awkward. They really should have made his mental health issues a central storyline instead of the Klaine breakup in season 6 because it really would have been so much more interesting. Missed opportunity :(
This is one of my favorite scenes! these guts are just special!
*KLAINE WASN'T TOXIC IT WAS REALISTIC*
I want to see Kurt in every episode without a shirt!😍❤❤❤
Lol same
BOYFRIEND NO NO NO HONEY FIANCÉ
first kurt competed in glee club for solos than in pamela lansbury with elliot and know his own fiance no matter what happens in kurts life he's always fighting for something and blaine needs to realize that
this made me cry
Sue's the best character for bringing them back together
How did the phrase "2 tops dont make a bottom" become a scene
this makes me cry every time man
I love how realistic their relationship is
I think Klaine is the cutest glee couple ever!! Kurt handled Blaine’s insecurity with such a gentle spirit! ❤️
When the bottom becomes the top and the original top is now becoming a bottom
😂
i hate how everyone is talking about top and bottom in this comment section, this scene has absolutely nothing to do with top and bottom, wtf is wrong with you guys????
Probably because at the end of the scene Kurt sayed he would never break up with him and he did it on season 6.
Mannnnn this got me right in the feels
We all go through insecurities I love how Kurt become so strong over these past seasons and Blain’s really starting to realize that.
I cried so much
Awww Blainey Add More Klaine Scenes From 5x14 & 5x15
