Exactly as Carulli should be played: fast, with gusto and feeling. It's incredible that music that is 2 centuries old contains lots of ideas for contemporary music.
Yeah, this pretty funny I guess... CARULLI wasn't even Renaissance guitar period, let alone ACTUAL Renaissance period!!! Man... I'm all over the place trying to find someone that's perforating the preludes and morceaux... Lol
You have a point - I don't think any historian would put the renaissance as late as the end of the 18th century (medievalists place it 1450 to 1650); but the style of this music definitely has reflections of the renaissance, so in that sense the heading is accurate.
