I'm a gritter driver for my local council and have been busy since Friday afternoon, I even had the pleasure of meeting deano0303 the other day when he came in for some salt, what a top bloke he is
Bloody he’ll it must have taken u boys all day just to film a few hours etc looking forward to seeing the final cut ..... popcorn 🍿 at the ready people
some of the roads I have been on looks as though they have had a 5 furrow plough on the back and ploughing the verges up and the roads too. will be fun and games when the snows gone and see how much damage has been done to the roads????
Dad operated a Massey Ferguson backhoe for farmer Saunders of Filton back in the 1960's and then a JCB backhoe after we migrated to Australia. We missed a few Christmas eves together when he was out clearing the roads until well after midnight. The Saunders family had all girls so I doubt if you are related ? My father was taught to drive farm machinery as a teenager during the war years and he drove all sorts of bulldozers and tractors. One tractor he drove was started on petrol and switched over to run on kerosene once it got hot enough. His favorite was the Allis Chalmers bulldozer which he said had so much power you had to be very careful on the throttle or risk either climbing the sprocket or making the tracks spin on hills. From quite an early age of I used to go to work with dad during the holidays mostly on building sites where I got the job of keeping the fire going and making cups of tea. On one job we towed a section of steel mesh behind the backhoe to clear the land which is now the Bedminster Downs Cemetery of all the small rocks strewn over it. I found that many of those small rocks were actually quite impressive fossils so we took a few home in the bucket. The Saunders also had a small fleet of Bedford J5-6 tippers which were far more comfortable than the Massey but were pigs to start on cold mornings. The sheds were always full of the smell of ether in the mornings and the starter cart always got a good workout.
It looks like you got more snow there than we do in Manitoba at the moment, it's been so warm here the last few weeks our first stuff from a month ago's pretty well melted. It looks like the bloopers should be re named " The 3 stooges visit a tractor shed" L.O.L. Thanks for sharing, Take care out there playing in the snow.
You should have recreated that video of the 'shall a do him' when you overtook Henry. 'YOU DONE HIM, Eassaayyy'. 😂 Great vid George, looking forward to see the full videos of the 3 of you!
Ellis wood I would run a bigger coz I was born in Scotland then moved to Australia 🇦🇺 in 2010 I was 10 when I moved to Australia now am 18 I still miss Scotland
+George Saunders, Great snow video George. So do you guys get contracted by local authority to snow plough or just offer as to wet or snowed to get on the land? Forgive the question if classed as not the norm! Thanks Smithy
Hi George, great outtakes, just a quick question about your Disco, how do you like it? i'm thinking of getting a commercial version and just thought you might be able to give an honest review of the motor, i'm here in Ireland and there very cheap and thought there might be a reason for that, you can pick a good example 2010 for about €8,000 euro.
Thanks for that, I was just abit concerned as to the reliability/running costs/insurance etc because over here in Ireland there very cheap compared to the Defenders but look a much more substantial vehicle over the Defender. ps, You guys are so funny trying to do a little scripted intro, I guess its ok when there's just you talking to a camera but when there's others around its abit more difficult....funny though.
If it's been regularly serviced it should be okay. If it's coming up to 100,000 miles make sure the belts have been done as it's an expensive job. As a commercial nothing performs or drives like them pound for pound.
Yes you are correct if you know about cars it's easy but some people will go it's bumble bee that moment I want to shoot myself bumble bee was a Chevrolet camaro
I couldn't figure out why you spelled plowing wrong, lol, then I started watching and realized you were from across the "pond"! It must be pretty hard not living on your farm and having to commute in everyday :(
Holy moly a great job George make hay when the suns out but you must have made over £400 working till 9pm on a sunday and they farm workers do not get payed enough well not in the old days but probable have to with all the bills to pay and debts till you die mortgage that is but George what skill you have you deserve it such a clever bloke.
Agrar Videos-DN Maybe you should try showing us all how to produce these faultless videos that you seem to expect ? I've just watched your vids and it appears that you can't. Hmmmm.......🤔
Agrar Videos-DN Well when you've bought this superior quality camera and microphone for George, I'm sure he will thank you and tell us all how great it is. As for me, I'm just a viewer and thankful that these guys take the time to entertain us for free at their OWN expense !
Crikey, been past your house loads of times years ago George, up and down A1. Bet you've heard how they closed the Christmas Market due to our 2mm. Next time you 3 'clowns' lol are filming....maybe a few less hand gestures will speed things up. Honestly I had tears in my eyes.
thats not a snow fall, should come to Boston USA to see some real snow, anything up to 20'' is normal and more, and once you start there's no going home, 4 hrs minimum up to no maximum, 30 , 40 50 hrs not unheard of, 1/2 hr break every 6 hrs .
george not been watching for a while last i saw you left one place and went to work for another place ,,have you gone back to the first place with the legend

I ran two Disco 4 commercials.
Wonderful trucks but try and go a bit newer and get the 8 speed.

not much plowing goes on near me only a few people acctualy plow we just Chuck grit down and go like hell even the council don't plow owt
Are you a private plow driver? I assume you're not plowing for a municipality since you're using a tractor rather than a plow truck.
I couldn't figure out why you spelled plowing wrong, lol, then I started watching and realized you were from across the "pond"! It must be pretty hard not living on your farm and having to commute in everyday :(

Agrar Videos-DN maybe because it isn't filmed in a studio
Agrar Videos-DN Maybe you should try showing us all how to produce these faultless videos that you seem to expect ? I've just watched your vids and it appears that you can't. Hmmmm.......🤔
