Well it’s not really rebranding. English speaking nations they call the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics the USSR. While in Russian it’s called the Союз Советских Социалистических Республик (СССР) or in English the SSSR. In Russian and Belarus it’s the SSSR, in Ukraine it’s the SRSR, in Uzbek and Azerbaijan it’s SSRI. Most other former Soviet Republics and satellite states tend to have the same or similar acronym of SSSR except for maybe Estonia (NSVL) and Tajikistan (ИҶШС).
Note: I could only make these observations because I can read Cyrillic (the alphabet most SSSR nations used) but some of the nations don’t use Cyrillic. So I can’t really make an observation on Georgia and Armenia as Georgia uses the Mkhedruli alphabet while Armenia uses the Armenian alphabet.

2:43 Battlecruisers rule! I am really not an expert at this game but i read a guide somewhere about Battlecruisers and after that I started to use them. They dominate the seas! I can play a campaign without losing a single one. I usually make them a bit more cheap thou. Plus its fun. Battlecruisers are just cool.
I always end up watching these videos late at night when I get home and I always fall asleep and watch them again the next night and the cycle continues😅

They are new, unlucky or both.
The limiting factor with games going into late game will almost always be manpower, as such inf offensives are never rly viable unless the enemy is spent and/or out of supply and u do it under green air with lots of cas.
Also unless u r using very small tanks bunching them up in stacks of more than 4 per tile is just ineffective they don't get in the battle And they drain the supply for everyone making all of them useless. maintenence comp for expensive tanks is always a must in addition to wat u already know they help recover the tanks lost.
finally speed kills, regardless of how many units they have on the line one breakthrough with fast units is all it takes for the whole front to collaps u just overrun and encircle them... territorial gains don't matter as much as killing the enemy army does.
This germany didn't seem as doomed as other disaster saves, I feel like the guy saw the allied 15-division doomstack on the west and his CAS obviously dying and got very intimidated by it

I like that the person who did this actually did try to make a navy. The navy is important. But the composition wasnt good. The battlecruiser design was totally fine. Quality over quantity pays off with the navy. But you dont need 15 of them. The AI doesnt generally build new capital ships, and when they do, they use them with inferior units that lowers the overall effectiveness. Pretty sure battles are decided by averages.
A good target for intial fleet size with Germany would be 4 carriers, 4-6 battlecruisers or battleships, 2 more heavy cruisers than that, the same number of light cruisers as heavy cruisers (light cruisers are the most important unit, build them high quality) 8-10 is fine, and 22-24 destroyers.
This provides a good balance of units, and you dont suffer from debuffs by having so many destroyers. Fleet coordination goes down with so many units and you loose more of them.
Subs are extremely important as Germany. Cutting off British units from their island is how you beat them.
But as much as I like the navy, and see how important it is, air is more important. I learned the hard way, in a manner not to different from this save (monarchist Germany) that you cant neglect air.
Also, auto split off on the battlesleet is a big no. If you want the ships to repair indidually, click the repair button next to them to send individual ships to repair. They will automatically go to open ports. Ive lost too many capital ships to trash subs by having auto split off on. Thats what the AI does, and it feels like an exploit. You can have a battle with the enemy fleet, wreck a bunch of destroyers with your light cruisers, then the subs will do a number on the unescorted capital ships that break off to repair.
Thats been my strategy for around 4 years now and it works phenomenally.

I feel like the recent DLCs have really messed up the axis AI. Its crazy how Italy and Vichy France get teared to shreds. In my recent Germany game I was balls deep in the USSR with 3 Collabs and the 86% to capitulation. I had to move my tank army to France and Italy 12 times to try to save them. And because of the amazing new Italy DLC, England only has to land like one province next to Rome and then the Italian civil war happens

Pro tip for AA if you're playing any nation and plan on using anti-air two factories from day one will give you all the AA you ever need for your whole country including Germany
SSSR is the russian/slavic name for the USSR. Idk why they put it in an english game though

I never put a full focus on my inf in germany, for me it is just tanks and cas... so much cas that my starter infantry breaks through the maginot.

I'm fairly certain you read the Bourbon France event wrong. Free France gets those. They get the North of France which includes Alsace-Lorraine. I mean I don't know how you even thought they'd (Bourbon France) get this when this is just a Neutral flavored Vichy France lmao.

it was an ahistorical campaign so probably Portugal or Mexico boosted communism at Latin America and about take over faction, any country take over faction if they have enough more manpower and industry than current faction leader which Soviets capitulated and Mongolia weak af Colombia easily get leadership

I noticed people really tend to fuck up a lot when playing Germany or the soviets
The soviet have a massive focus tree, a massive country and supply issues. Easy to make mistake. Germany is a beginner nation, so it's easy you find unexpected player there. I don't think you find many experienced player toying with Germany in vanilla single player, nor many playing the soviets much unless you go for some weird path.
