Yo guys could you do like a quick summary of the tank before the reviews? There's a lot of people watching you who don't play WOT anymore and we don't have a clue
We prefer to put informative stuff at the end. Most people come to our channel to just have a laugh, so we put the "boring" stuff at the end. We always put a timestamp to where the informative stuff starts though if that's what you're interested in.
Great stuff ,I did watch till the end ,and trust me it has more precision than most of my tanks (tier six maximum).It is tier 8 but far better than most German for precision(p.s. I have personally bad aim for someone who uses a mouse)
Another thing worth mentioning is that this tank absolutely destroys lower tier tanks, but is near useless against higher tier tanks due to the lank of mobility and penetration mentioned in the review, as well as higher tier tanks just ignoring the armor.
Closest comparison I can go with the TITT in tier 10 is T-62A. And I can tell u, playing the T-62A can be quite a struggle. Playing the TITT in tier 10 MM, I can imagine it would be very hard. U are basically a 3-4 shot kill for enemy Tier 10 medium.
The wheel thing in front and thr armour overall is kind of troll, the gold pen can go through some top tier tank weakspots if you can aim, its not useless its actually good (most of the time and if you can play it well)
I do think it is very good for a free tank, and is 100% worth getting if you are f2p like me. I unlocked it in 3 days and it's a good credit grinder. It is a bit boring but can be a very fun and active tank, as long as you choose the right places to go
yeah, this tank feels like it performed to well on supertest, so WG butchered all stats exept for its main selling point (armor + fast reload). it became so shit that they now just throw it out as a free tank... i noticed i can literally slaughter T6 and T7 without them penetratig me at all, dealing consistently 3k+ dmg as top tier. but as soon as you face strong T8 and higher tier vehicles you dont have any fun in this thing most of the time i barely managed to score 1.5k dmg or even worse. after 50 games i throw this tank now in the trash bin. like you said it doesn't feel fun to play...
The DPM was above 5k in the supertest, it was possible to get almost 5300 DPM with it but the penetration was even worse than T69, iirc it was 185 with standard and 235 with premium shells, so pretty much kanonen 90 penetration values or even worse, tier 6-7 penetration values facing tier X, effectively a money sinker. The mobility was around 16 horse power and 50 km/h so yeah...the tank is just a shadow of what it was and the funny thing is the emblem when you unlock it says you got a heavy tank, they didn't even bother to change it lol
I know animation is limited in this game at times, but a cool selling point would of been the front "wheels" rotated as you drove 😁😎 It reminded me of the mine roller kit we tested on the Leopards back in the day, but it made it a pain to drive 😮🤬 I might try and get this p.o.s., since I knew some $$ for a key pkg, thinking I could zip thru the missions faster NOT realized the amount of keys you need to just skip thru the mission if you REALLY want to ge the TiTT.. sorry OBSIDIAN!! I got the tank yesterday and have been doing quite well in it. I think it helps that i miraculously didnt go up against any higher tier tanks in my 10 games with it.
When i've said that this tank will be awesome, they called me a madman. Now where did that bring them? Back to me. The only bad thing about this tank is it's mobility. Being able to shoot every 4 seconds and keep someone tracked is awesome. And the armor has no problem with bouncing even tier IX and X. I once had 5K blocked while playing against tier VIII and IX so i don't care what people say, it has armor...A LOT OF ARMOR and its AWESOME TANK
Gotta agree with you guys! Im a 49% average f2p joe and the mirny event was easy as crap to get this tank,I enjoy it. Reminds me of the kampf panzer 07 RH`S gun if you ask me. also gj edvin for working to recieve it for free like i did! Also,one more question,i think steel hunter should have the old 2019 tanks the flammerschwert,red dawn and the rattlesnake should be tanks next time wg brings back steel hunter,what did you think about telling wg this and maybe the playerbase? 2019 steel hunter was the best gamemode in wot imo.

A big problem with content around new tanks is that they get better matchmaking for different reasons. And no this is not a CC marketing stunt. According to WG, the matchmaker needs time to adjust to new tanks, usually resulting in less tier spread. On top of that, when a player plays a tank for the first time the game prefers to give that tank better matchmaking. We have spoken to WG about this many times. But there isn't much they can do. And they are sure it's not a marketing strategy. Another great reason why reviews of new tanks should be taken with a shovel of salt.
So its basically worse Kpz 07 which is amazing considering its Russian bias vs Germon steel, but hey at least its one of the easiest for free tanks to get in last years
I used to play world of tanks for about 9 years. Started playing with like 400 WN8 and finished few months ago with 3500+, but i must say now, when i play only war thunder, that i am sad, that i did not leave the game earlier... when i compare WoT and WT in terms of tank realism and other stuff about tanks. You content is GEM, but this game is just total bs and i despice it.
The obsidian is hilarious. It’s got HUGE fake tits, the sigma seems to be disgustingly good, and nobody seems to remember the upper plate weak spot. It’s just a shame you can’t add decals because I’ve already aced the tank 3 times.

I find it very frustrating that you only play a milisecond of the thomas the tank engine theme song. Your videos would be vastly improved with more thomas the tank engine music.
The Obsidian really is just a piece of trash. Its got literally nothing that it can use. The armor rarely works, the gun is horrendously inaccurate, plus the pen is really bad. The premium round is way to expensive for it hitting about as hard as a cat scratch, not to mention the Tornvagn has a standard round, APCR 248mm of pen, that is better than the Obsidians premium round, APCR 245ishmm of pen. The Obsidian has two main positives. The side armor is really weird and inconsistent when it comes to the values it presents in a side scrape, and the gun has enough dpm to out dpm most enemies you will face, as long as they are equal or lower tier. I have yet to mention the fact that the big buldge on the roof of it is only 35mm, meaning pretty much any higher tier tank, most heavies at equal tiers as well, will go right on through your roof. My conclusion for this tank is, if you get it for free, you have a goofy tank to look at, but a terribly boring one to play. If you pay for it, you are........ special. It is not only not very fun to look at, but also it never really performs outside of VERY spessific circumstance.

I use fir snipe or support in second line to track and do dmg.
The armor is trollish if overangle a bit in sidescrapping.

Honestly, the SPH-TVP feels way better with actually similar DPM and much greater mobility
