What I like about all of your videos is that you first explain everything show how to first test, than the mobilisatie/manipulation and after that test again. I've see a lot of videos but yours are so professional.
Just received an email from you, my condolences on the loss of your son, its truly a tragic event and a deep loss of such a young life at 17. Keep strong.
Sir, you are a very great professional and my only wish is to meet you one day . I always see you as my mentor and i learnt alot of techniques from your videos. Allah Almighty always bless you Best regard
Why do you rotate and side flex contralaterally? Is the goal of manipulating to achieve maximum open or close? ie: flexion, side flexion away, rotate away then HVT over top?, extension SF and rotate towards for full closure then HVT over top?
I side bend the cervical and rotate to the opposite side because I am inducing a Type 1 mechanics to a cervical spine that follows a Type 11 mechanics and need to lock to enable a cavitation. Regards JG
So John manipulation of C2 to C7 requires side bending to the same side and contralateral rotation to lock against type type 2mechanics where in upper cervical spine the same manoeuvre but flex the neck a little bit ,am I right then ?
Dr. JOHN GIBBONS, I have had many innacurate C1 C2 adjustments, I would like to be seen by you, what can I do to make an appointment? Do you see patients while you travel, like in Dubai? Thank you CDB
Fantastic video. I am looking forward to learning this. For those not qualified to do Manipulations how effective is the MET? Can I clarify that the MET in this video is like the like Lev Scap MET but the client pushes in the opposite direction (towards hand) rather that than backwards into pillow?
Thanks for the comment and the MET with a mobilisation is just as good as a manipulation but just takes longer, it doesn't really matter which way the patient pushes (LATERAL FLEXION) as one way is PIR of MET and the other is the RI method of MET. Hope that helps, regards JG
@@JohnGibbons Hi im feeling dull ache pain that has never gone away with side planks and exercises had severe pain down my knee nerve pain that went away with spinal decompression, my question is can someone actually close or open or whatever relieving that mild pain in lower back? It's just the left side, mri say two mild facet diseases and 3 2.5mm herniated discs can a chiro help me with that dull ache or do I have to live with it?? Also how long do i have before surgery im 29 yo dealing with this pain
@@JohnGibbons What is your address I have two facet diseases abutting exiting nerve roots course in the left side.Mild canal stenosis can you help feel normal again I feel a pinch on my lower back left side that never subsides with spinal decompression or exercises question is can i ever get relief from it feeling back to normal or am I stuck with this dull ache???
Im told this is probably what i need. I deal with what seems like sinus infections but treatment never works. My problem is that I do a lot of weight training and I won't trust anyone to twist or jerk my neck. I would tather have an orthopedic surgeon operate to fix it. I don't trust cirocrappers. Thats my neck. I need that and don't want to die because someone like you accendentally snaps my neck. Your patients are crazy.
I just ran into this by action and looking for something else. It seems like you're doing a osteopathic approach to spinal manipulation. With techniques better a similar to the Chiropractic a dive devoted methods of adjusting he seemed you were focused on the cervico thoracic areas primarily lost 2 videos I saw. With audible cavitation. You must be from United Kingdom or Australia You must be from United Kingdom or Australia. Great demonstration.thanks John
I need that badly, and the final move was amazing, didn't see that coming!
Thank you...regards JG
Amazing hability Sir! Very nice to see your videos! Thank you.
Regards.
I couldn’t tell the difference between a rotation thrust and a side thrust. They both looked so similar!
There is a very subtle difference between the two techniques and that what makes the difference, regards JG
Another great video John. Well done
Thanks Matey...when you coming to Oxford!!
funny you say that. I'm sitting here going through my diary and plotting some days in oxford

Hello is your courses available in the United States?
Some of your videos look like click bait, especially the one with the bum with over a million views. But then there are helpful videos like this.
Glad it was helpful and thanks for watching! Regards JG
How do you know based off of PROM whether or not a facet is fixed open or fixed closed?
I show a video on this to decide if closed or open, regards JG
very good and professional. love it.

Clean your lens. Shut those blinds on the window. Get a fresh hair cut.
