- Let Loose Apple Event Announced! - What To Expect- The next Apple Event called Let Loose was officially announced today by Apple. Let Loose is where we should see the new iPad Air and iPad Pro with OLED displays. We could also see some new accessories and Apple Pencils as well. We do not expect the base iPad or iPad mini at this event. I’ve had my iPad Pro for 4 years and never came close to breaking if it in half. Keep it in a case and pack it flat. What are people doing???
People always try to find a flaw with new Apple products. Every time a new product comes out they always rant on how bad it is.
I’ve had mine for 3 years 12.9” and I never thought “dang this would be easy to break in half.” lol

Me neither, except for that one time I had a sleep over with a few friends. They weren’t paying attention and one of them fell on my iPad, which I probably put away on one of the mattresses on the ground (which is stupid). It’s a 12,9” one and it was in a flimsy plastic case. Next morning I found out because the display was suspended over the bent area 😰 I just bent it back and here I am, 1,5 years later replying on your comment using that same iPad 😌
2018 iPad Pro here and the only reason I might replace it is battery. Still as fast as when I bought it 5yrs ago.

I'm waiting for the new Mini - currently using a 5th Gen.
I've seen a video on another creator's channel suggesting that we just go for the 6th Gen, but I think I'll wait and see what the 7th has to offer.
After saying that, I did go as far as finding out what trade-in value my 5th Gen currently has.

Maybe Apple will use the “squeeze” feature for the Apple Pencil like how you control the Vision Pro by squeezing your fingers together? I’m really excited for this event, they must be planning something big, because they usually have an event in March…some OLED screens and iPad mini, Pro redesigns I hope.

Thinking about selling my iPad Pro and buying the current IPad Pro but choosing a larger storage option. A bit worried about the pricing of the new ones a lot of suggestions it could be US$ 1900.00. Imagine what that would be in Australia?

If the 11 inch iPad Pro with OLED isn’t too outrageously priced, I might see if it’s a decent replacement for the Tab S9 I have now. I like having an android device in case I need or want a specific android app, but I also like being able to get my messages on whatever device I’m using. I love the Tab display for reading graphic novels and watching UA-cam, plus the S Pen is already included. The new iPad Pro better have a hell of a trick up it’s sleeve.

That’s a great idea! An Apple Pencil for a iPhone. Screens for the 16 models are rumored to get bigger which means bigger in general. Maybe a smaller version of the pencil.

@@zollotechI doubt it will be limited because since the Vision Pro is not working out as much as Apple thought, they will want more sales on every new product they release now because of the money they lost on Apple Vision Pro.

@@kelly_software Yeah! Apple has almost $3 Trillion dollars anyway, they could try to create something like that. I hope Apple watches zollotech’s videos and reads that comments. They could see these ideas and bring it to life.
I would love to see the air get an m2 with 120hz display.
That would make it more worth it, but I don’t think Apple is going to do that, otherwise they would have done on the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus already but if they did not do that, then they most likely won’t on the iPad Air but anything different can happen. We will have to just wait and see.

I would like to see an ipad with camera on the landscape orientation of the ipad and a magic keyboard with full set of keys sacrificing the trackpad. I am happy to buy a full sized magic trackpad for mac for an ipad if i had a full keyboard on the magic keyboard case, rather than a tiny trackpad and non full set of keys on keyboard.
All I need is for it to be way cheaper because wow, $350?
That’s way too expensive for a keyboard! It’s on the verge of not being worth that price. I would take it down to $150 because that’s still crazy as well.

No, that would be with iOS 18, but Apple has never been about customization in the past. They design what they consider best and then you use it.

The only thing I care about with Apple devices is eye comfort. That is why I use eink tablets, but if Apple ever figures it out, I would use my iPad for everything.
To be honest we don’t need any new iPads, heck, the M1 iPad Pro is still a beast. but I will admit though, it will be nice to have a 12.9 inch iPad Air.

No, and to your point, I have seen many people use iPads to take photos. I personally wouldn’t use it for that but some people do use it on things such as job sites to even scan rooms using the camera and lidar
People (more often kids) take photos and use it for FaceTime.

@@zollotech I have wanted it, although, I think that if we do see something like that, it will be a Dynamic Island because of the iPhone. Maybe a notch on the regular iPad but the Air and the Pro I think would get the Dynamic Island. Just my opinion, you don’t have to agree.

Apple is no longer coming out with anything significant except expensive equipment like I said I haven’t even watched the video and there’s no motivation to do so only this guy keeps on showing their videos. Samsung tab s9 ultra is larger and thinner than the iPad Pro 12.9 while still being way more durable…so it’s clearly possible to do so
I wouldn’t say it’s as durable. You can flex those very easily.
