@Anime Binger (Get Me To 1000 Subs With One Video) well for 1 Have you read the manga?.. it is incomparable to gurran luggan, cuz those are pretty colors with smooth animation with only a few dabs of color in it, add some pink, purple, etc etc done, nothing much(I'm not saying it's easy I'm just stating what it is), Now compare the manga of opm with that gurran luggan fight, every scene needs to be animated, every step needs to be animated, the coloring, it takes roughly I think 140K for EACH Regular anime episode let alone what OPM is gonna cost, so budget cuts, everywhere, they also need to make this fit 24 episodes (cuz that's the baseline time for an anime, so yeah, Another problem is the fans reaction, ONE the author of opm, sadly set a HIGH as fuck expectation for everyone with what he made now if 1, 1 singular scene is removed, the fanbase would be outraged(just like every other fandom does) so they need to have every scene there, especially the Jupiter scenes etc, The reason why fanmade stuff is, THERE, is because it's fan made, they don't need to worry about budget, they also don't need to worry about 24 minutes long, as you can see in this short right now not every frame is animated, the infinity sign is really cool tho props for that, but other than that the rest are taken from the manga, with the use of screen shorts etc and editing them, Admittedly some of these scenes look cool yes, I cannot argue with that, but those are just simple scenes(the explosion was cool tho), props for that again, but the movement of the characters are built/edited to follow a background song(since it's fanmade), Short answer, it's hard as fuck, try drawing a stick man and having it move 5 different actions it takes 2 minutes just for that 1 simple scene and thats not involving coloring, voicing, sounding, etc And also voice acting, music, etc etc, those sounds need to be made too, and added, paying the voice actors too is another budget punch
