The decision to take the story from character driven about Desmond to being about "YOU the player" in the world was what really ruined AC for me. So much wasted opportunity to tell stories in an alternate history like how you met DaVinci.
Don’t know if you remember but back in the days, Desmond as a character wasn’t really popular they tried to solve that problem by killing him, only then did the mass realise how important he was to the storyline.
This sounds like what Ubisoft is now pushing as "AC: Infinity". Basically a hub for AC games, lore, multiplayer, etc. I've always thought it'd be cool to play a multiplayer AC game where you can choose to be an Assassin or Templar and you fight other live players who are either Assassins' or Templars
These are the best AC videos online. I've been trying to compile all the transmedia and side content like this, but I have also found it hard to do so retrospectively so great job!
It’s amazing how many game projects rely on extended media (books, comics and web content) to fill in the gaps for crucial plot development or character lore. I’m still salty Ubisoft regulated the Phoenix project story with Juno into a comic and not as a game entry. Then you plan origins and review the emails in game that talk about events, which directly influence the character you are playing, that happened in other media. It’s just luck I happened to watch that assassins creed movie to understand the events I was reading there. So good luck bringing these "lost files" to the channel because there's a lot out there nobody knows about.
The problem was that the story should’ve ended in assassin’s creed three, and then they should’ve continued the games with Spanos instead of trying to force the same story
I think rouge was the last one I played, I purchased unity and syndicate, and they are still laying in the packaging. Never bothered buying anymore after that. I'll get around to them one day
Bro please play AC Unity. I played it for the first time a year ago and was absolutely blown away by how good it is for the graphics and parkour. It's one of the top 3 AC games for me.
Nah, I loved AC Initiates. Many people did. The only complaint was lack of content. And AC Initiates died because of Ubisoft, they ruined it in 2015, after a long maintenance break, and then in 2016 they shut it down forever.
Ouch. But I know our history. Overall the issue I've had with EM since we went over to Comicstorian was I basically forgot what I had fun with over here. I kept trying to make it bigger and better. But at the end of the day, I really should have just kept with the gaming lore that I enjoyed doing. Cant say I wont abandon it down the road, but I really hope I dont. Been having fun with these videos so far! (I have 3 more being worked on in pieces right now lol)
Or, OR, The channels existed for around 10 years and we've covered various forms of lore, AND I decided to come back and focus entirely on AC for a little while. Ya thats probably it. I have no idea what ADD would have to do with me adding AC Lore to the channels name lol.

This is true

Love these new AC videos, please keep them coming!
Thank you! I plan to!

I like AC Rogue. Really enjoy the assassin enemy type. Good to watch the gameplay with the commentary
Its the one Im working on a platinum on right now, so had it ready to boot up lol
The Templars took notice and shut them down.
Been following comicstorian and AM&D for years and never new you had AC content. A surprise, but a welcome one!
Huge preesh for you Benny, for doing all of the research I definitely don't want to do and cleaning it up as best as you can.
The problem was they done up Desmond and let Juno walk free, like what
I'm so glad I'm still subscribed to this channel.
The Assassin's Creed lore videos are always welcome. In regards to covering lore from other games, could you please cover lore from Deus Ex or Crysis?
Woah I didn’t even know you posted on this channel 2 weeks ago ima have to go check that out appreciate you dropping content here ❤
I remember this in it's prime. I miss it.
Last descendants is awesome

Welcome back mate!
They could close Desmond plot and continue the Canon with spin offs but they choose the worse option: generic silent protagonist...
They really tried to do the phone companion with alot of their games
To bad the idea was a perfect one
I did enjoy AC 2 online cat and mouse game type
You don't happen to have a channel about Comic-Books, right?
Edit: I just looked through your podcasts and subscription list, so it is you.

They underestimated how lazy people can be. Too much works for a gimmick wiki of AC.
I could never beat assassin’s creed three because for some reason on the Xbox edition it wouldn’t let me beat the intro
Assassin’s initiate sounded like a interesting idea in theory execution wise sounded like a mess in my opinion.

You sound like comicstorian
Bennie I love AC. Can we start an Ac club?
Where would we convene?! What would it even be like?! What would it do?!
I haven't thought that far ahead lol
Let’s goooo
Lmao the overarching story is more confusing than lost lmao the trilogys version was great
I give this channel another 10 months before it’s abandoned again

Is your ADD so bad that you had to make this channel assassin’s creed lore even though I can go watch Final fantasy content why
