It seems like on the 2.0 Diesel it was really limited by the 1st gear boost limiter. I think if the car got the full 20+ PSI it may not have even needed nitrous.
TheJTurn I made some quick mods to remove that with my own ecu, makes a lot of difference in those cars

that might be explained because of the stock turbo being aimed at developing power at lower RPMs
plus the stage 3 race turbo takes more time to prepare the boost, making no effect at lower rpms
and the stage 3 turbo can be tuned in the configuration menu to make more power
@Gibbon i think that the stage 3 turbo is at the lowest settings when you equip it manualy but you can adjust the waste gate pressure for opening the valve so it makes more power. don't go to the limit, i think it is 40 psi or so butt just a little bit more boost could do the trick. it could also be that the settings are not at the lowest so you could lower the waste gate pressure so you get less turbo lag

For some reason I found my self asking why am I even watching this but kept on watching to see if he would make it up the hill each time...lol.
just so you know, the Race Turbo Setup is more of a "simple" big turbo charger setup found in Aftermarket Applications in the real world, so nothing happens until you're into the rpms like hell, big compressor-/housing somewhat smaller turbine / exhaustside but not much in terms of boost pressure regulation with "driveabilty" in mind soo no torque till 5grand and then you'll get kicked till ketchup.
normally factory installed Turbochargers work with things like VTG, which directs the exhaust flow to the outer turbine in low rpm scenarios to get you more boost pressure in lower RPMs and direct it more inward the more Torque and Power is generated to regulate the boost pressure since the turbine cant spin fast when the exhaust flow is directed to it's center.
modern solutions are more sophisticated but often rely on a combination of directing the exhaust flow and electric turbocharging (build boost pressure with an electric motor attached to a turbocharger @ 48 Volts)

the torque converters are not even locked yet, use manual for a better result I would say :) (on the “low” power ones)
yep needs a tighter converter. it's just slipping.
Nothing would change if the engine cant produce enough force to move the cargo uphill wether it's manual or not.
@@genesisalexandria7506 tests need to be re done in manual with manual control of the clutch. get a better idea then.

Seems like it is torque limited? irl this would happen if the drivetrain components can not deal with the torque. You can see on the graph it is limited to 250 lb-ft for some reason. If given free reigns even the single one should've made the climb.

@@satsumagt5284 If it wasnt torque limited the final drive should not have mattered in the first case. modern electric motors for car use variable frequency control giving them maximum power across the entire RPM range. You can see in the vid it's nowhere near maximum power.

@@jblbasstester6198 yes, not all of them. Also, different stages ECU's.
the reason the stock turbo would outperform the stage 3 turbo on the 2.0 I4 is because a smaller turbo can spool up faster than a large turbo can, a larger turbo takes more rpm to get max boost but larger turbos make more boost so it’s like a trade off
the reason why the stock turbo was better in one case is probably due to there being more low end torque
the I4 actually sounds like my lawnmower at low rpm
I gotta admit that little 1.2 3 pot is a stout little motor! Nearly 300 lb-ft of torque, 100 shot of nos, AND 35 PSI of boost on the stock long block ain't easy!
Idk if it's for a gas engines only but the boost is restricted in first gear so it actually made full boost in first it would help alot

Electric motors have constant torque. It would be a flat line

I don't understand why electric version is so weak. I played it and didn't perform very well even turn off esc.
Because it's supposed to be tame like in real electric cars, not have 1000hp+

ESC in Electric cars are actually drive modes, they just didn't change the logo but if you look at the dashboard while changing them you see that it they change modes.
Also I would assume that this is more of an Peugeot 208e or a BMW i3 electric car with around 150HP, not a Tesla equivalent with 400HP and way more rude torque.

How did you get the telemetry in the top left corner, i can't find a mod for it and i cannot find any diesel mods :/
It's not a mod. It's called engine debug and you can find it in the apps menu.

You have to take the n2o file from another car.
For ex the Bluebuck, you just rename it to vivace_n2o.jbeam and drop it in the vivace.zip.

Not sure, maybe because the brakes on the trailer might be only on the front axle? Who knows.
That particular trailer worked fine before this update though.
