The view is top tier !! Last year October i was in taitung and stop by jialulan too but was stop by rain and strong wind. I had to cancel my plan to ride to shanxiantai. Locals told me there is a looping typhoon 😅 Definitely need to go back again !!

我是台灣人，我並不推薦來台灣旅遊，這個國家對摩托車的限制太多了，需要注意他們通過法律讓550排量以上的摩托車行駛他們公告可以行駛的高速公路路段，但時間到了他們不公布路段導致摩托車駕駛很不高興，而且人們對摩托車騎士並不友善具有攻擊性，台灣駕駛對行人也不會禮讓，旅遊物價又相對日本較高一些，所以當地人大多選擇去日本旅遊，祝福你們在台灣的旅行順利平安。

did the earthquake in 2024 affect any of the scenic roads? i heard the hualien area is closed down now from the damage and landslide

On average, 8 people die in car accidents every day in Taiwan. You have to pay more attention especially taxis,gravel truck ,Someone has professional driver's license(license plate with red letters), and the illegal racing motorcycle on the mountain .
with motorcycling, always have to be extra careful and ride within your limits!
