- Trying out the new Lone Star Grills 20x42 Pellet Grill. It worked out great, so good I forgot to mention it , as the pork belly turned out amazing.
You're doing a great job! Love to watch your videos. Would love to see videos comparing the different Lone Star Grillz (offset vs pellet, etc). Keep up the great work!
GOOD LUCK AT THE LODI FESTIVAL YOU GOT MY VOTE.
Looks good Jason. 😎
I went over to LSG to go look at everything a while back, mainly wanted to compare the large and mini IVS but also really wanted to see everything. That's when they started in with those pellet grills.
To be honest I've had such a bad experience with pellet smokers I'll probably never own another one. But if I were to buy one that's the one I'd be looking at. Most have these janky electronics, I'd have a lot more confidence in that fire board there.
Good first cook. Looking forward to more. 👊
Thanks for the kind words. Looking forward to many cooks. So far the LSG Pellet is a beast! Heads and shoulders above a Traeger. Not even in the same decision.
Hey there, just ran across this video. Love the sauce mixes. Love the video. I ordered my LSG Pellet Grill on August 16th. I guess I have a while to wait.
Thanks! You will love it and it's worth the wait! I have a rib video coming out this week on the pellet grill!
For sure a comparison video. Brisket. Blind taste test. See how the pellet stacks up against a real stick burner.
Coming soon!
Just Ordered the LGS Pellet grill same one as yours , My delivery is somewhere in Oct , I guess I have to use my Weber Gas grill till then !!!
Congrats! It'll be worth the wait!
The ends looks good! Is it easy to clean the grease/ash inside the chamber? I know the firepot underneath helps cut down amount of ash inside grill but there will always be some. Also grease you have to scoop out as I assume you can’t push it into the grease drain?
Yes to all. Easy to clean. Ash dump is great. Easy cleaning. The plates and pans are heavy. Grease drains to the far end with a ball valve. Very quality and highly recommended!
COOK LOOKED GREAT , WHAT ABOUT THE LOANSTAR PELLET GRILL HOW DO YOU THINK IT STACKS UP TO UTHER PELLET GRILLS AND THE LOANSTAR OFFSET ? LIKE ALL THE OTHER VIDEOS ON THE LOANSTAR PELLET GRILL FROM DEAD BROKE BBQ AND SMOKEY RIBS BBQ THE PELLET GRILL SEEMS TO SMOKE THE WHOLE COOK IS THAT WHAT YOU ENCOUNTERED ALSO ?
Yes! You nailed it! It lived up to all the hype. Smoked constantly. I was surprised at the ability for it to hold temperature the way it did. I expected there to be more temperature, variance, spikes and swings etc. Steady, and smoked and smoked and smoked. The quality of smoke was excellent. I had planned on explaining a few of those things, but after the first bite, I couldn't wait any longer to eat. Haha I will say, the offset is still my favorite. But man is the pellet easy to use.

GREAT I CANT WAIT TILL MINE COMES IN I HAVE A SHIRLEY FAB REVERSE FLOW ANS A PITBOSS 1100 PRO PELLET , AND SHIRLEY BUILDING ME A 24 X 42 CHARGRILL , WHEN THE LOANSTAR PELLET GETS HERE THE PITBOSS WILL GO, AND I WIL HAVE 3 BAD ASS PITS
Omg they looked so delicious…..which ones did you prefer? Thanks for posting!!! How did you like the way the Lonestargrillz preformed?
They were great! I liked the spicy ones better. The lone Star performed fabulous. Definitely better than any other pellet style grill I've seen or used.
Which ones were better? A comparison cook would be great, can’t remember if you have the LSG Offset or the LSG Insulated Charcoal…..Looks like good eats my man!!! 👊
Both were amazing. In fact the first one was so good I wrapped the video up too early. Lol! I have an offset as well as an insulated vertical. Any ideas on cooks?
@@kwikmechanic Thanks for the reply my man….I understand and that is always so awesome when it comes off the cooker and tastes better than expected!!! As for cooks, I would say offset vs pellet smoker with Beef Ribs as a comparison. Have a great one! 👊
@@bobbyrob2008 I like your way of thinking! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
@Kwik-Que what are your thoughts?
Not sure on what you'd like thoughts on?
Looks gd!! Maybe a pork loin in the future??
Thanks! Yes! Thinking about bacon wrapped with a nice glaze!
Just ordered the same one on Friday. Can’t wait for it to arrive.
How long was your wait from order to arrival?
About 20 weeks! That was after waiting for my build slot to be filled. You will love it!
Any new cooks on the grill?
Yes sir! Took it camping. Did a brisket. Some ribs and TRI tip! I've been in the process of building out a grillzebo in the backyard. It's been taking some time. But will be getting some new content out in the near future!
Then we wait! Can’t wait to see how they’ve turned out…and for my own LSG pellet grill to arrive
@@johnrhodes837 the grill is worth the wait! You'll love it!
after covering them with foil, I would put them in the oven and save pellets!
That's a great idea! Thank you
Pellet grill never have the smoke taste like a offset never enough smoke lsg Design This Grill with fire board to always have smoke out the stack like a offset unlike other pellet grill I'm sure people especially myself would definitely want to see a comparison between the pellet grill and off set smoke taste did lsg do what other companies can't do have a pellet grill taste like it was cook on a offset
Not pork belly burnt ends of you cut it up first. Crazy how one wrong person copied and another and started a chain reaction. Cook it as a whole so it don't shrink up like a bowtie, like you would brisket burnt ends, cube it like you would brisket burnt ends, glaze like you would brisket burnt ends, then cook until sticky like you would brisket burnt ends.
If I wanted to make a prime rib using pork loin, I wouldn't cut it up first before cooking because it would be a pork chop so she completely change the cooking method and think you are making pork belly burnt ends. I'm not missing out on anything but if you want an authentic burnt end experience cook it like a burnt end. Don't get me wrong, still good either way. Cubing first is good for kabobs but if it's burnt ends it has to be cooked as a mass. You wouldn't cube and slice brisket before cooking and for a good reason
Turn the music down !
