I think Mundines ego has gotten the better of him as in the fact of yes, he is an incredible athlete, but that doesn't mean you can do things that no other human have ever been able to do before, like e.g( moving down in weight and regaining strength and power when you get old.) He should of started his career as a middle weight, then moved up to super over time and chased the best fighters instead of the easy money. He did what was best for his family, but the price he will pay is having to live with his legacy

Survival mission for Mundine, barely won any rounds and screwed some when he was ahead by getting dropped. Clottey seemed to not want to stop him, lacked ferocity. 118-105 Clottey. Ref was horrible, giving every possible help to Mundine and never warning him, when he was the one with dirty tactics throughout the fight.

Clottey looked ok but a class below the elite. Mundine looked gaunt and weak and went down much easier than any world class fighter would. The commentators should be inducted into the Mundine mutual adoration society with their over the top praise of an average fighter and performance. Hey message Mundine, the reason why no one has won world title fights in 3 descending weight divisions is because they are not stupid enough to try. Dropping weight as you age just makes you weaker and easier to knock down as you proved in this fight. Clottey had it exactly right.
Clottey problem in his boxing career is hesitating ,talented but at time just simple not having the killer instinct , this guy should be out in the earlier round. Very hard to get back to his younger days.
That ref was a joke, he gave Mudine all the time the world to get back up. on the first knockdown he counted to 8 and Mudine wouldn't get up. He then incredibly stopped the count and told him to get up. He tried everything to give him a hand up but failed. The score card was a joke too. I had the margin much wider. And the most shocking thing about this bout, sanctioned by the Australian boxing council was the lack of medical attendance of the fighters. At no point did a doctor go in to see how the fighters was doing. Mudine was hurt and no doctor was there to intervene. This whole bout was handled wrongly. It gives Australia no credit to how it manages boxing fights.

Survival mission for Mundine, barely won any rounds and screwed some when he was ahead by getting dropped. Clottey seemed to not want to stop him, lacked ferocity. 118-105 Clottey. Ref was horrible, giving every possible help to Mundine and never warning him, when he was the one with dirty tactics throughout the fight.
Anthony Mundine showed a lot of heart & courage in this fight, even though it was not his night. Full credit to Joshua Clottey for having a rock solid defence, attacking relentlessly & winning this fight.
The weight cut killed choc prior to this fight. He looks very thin .. and no juice in his punches no fluidity in any movements clearly suggests he’s weaker at the lower weight... and he couldn’t wear any of clottey shots every shot effected mundine more then u would think

Clottey looked ok but a class below the elite. Mundine looked gaunt and weak and went down much easier than any world class fighter would. The commentators should be inducted into the Mundine mutual adoration society with their over the top praise of an average fighter and performance. Hey message Mundine, the reason why no one has won world title fights in 3 descending weight divisions is because they are not stupid enough to try. Dropping weight as you age just makes you weaker and easier to knock down as you proved in this fight. Clottey had it exactly right.

Clottey problem in his boxing career is hesitating ,talented but at time just simple not having the killer instinct , this guy should be out in the earlier round. Very hard to get back to his younger days.

WTF Ref!!! At 30:08 the count goes over 15 seconds.....
That ref was a joke, he gave Mudine all the time the world to get back up. on the first knockdown he counted to 8 and Mudine wouldn't get up. He then incredibly stopped the count and told him to get up. He tried everything to give him a hand up but failed.
The score card was a joke too. I had the margin much wider. And the most shocking thing about this bout, sanctioned by the Australian boxing council was the lack of medical attendance of the fighters. At no point did a doctor go in to see how the fighters was doing. Mudine was hurt and no doctor was there to intervene. This whole bout was handled wrongly. It gives Australia no credit to how it manages boxing fights.
