Clottey got one of the best left hands in the game. the way he mixes it up with the hook to body/head head/body is sick and he throws nice uppercuts too. i just think he dips forward too much to set up his shots. if not for his defense, he'd get tag a lot for doing that. hopefully we could see him back on the big stage and not throw BS fights like he did with Pacquiao

When he comes to win, stepping in with his combos, Clottey is pretty much too much to handle, and I wonder what made him hold that back from Pacman that night. Since Clottey's return, he seems alot more focused. It's a shame, because I know he will be dodged by big names, which will affect his career to a degree. He is extremely skilled, which I don't think he gets nearly enough credit for. Add to that, the fact that he has heavy hands and an iron chin, and he's a recipe for "run away." lol

I think Mundines ego has gotten the better of him as in the fact of yes, he is an incredible athlete, but that doesn't mean you can do things that no other human have ever been able to do before, like e.g( moving down in weight and regaining strength and power when you get old.) He should of started his career as a middle weight, then moved up to super over time and chased the best fighters instead of the easy money. He did what was best for his family, but the price he will pay is having to live with his legacy

Clottey looked ok but a class below the elite. Mundine looked gaunt and weak and went down much easier than any world class fighter would. The commentators should be inducted into the Mundine mutual adoration society with their over the top praise of an average fighter and performance. Hey message Mundine, the reason why no one has won world title fights in 3 descending weight divisions is because they are not stupid enough to try. Dropping weight as you age just makes you weaker and easier to knock down as you proved in this fight. Clottey had it exactly right.
That ref was a joke, he gave Mudine all the time the world to get back up. on the first knockdown he counted to 8 and Mudine wouldn't get up. He then incredibly stopped the count and told him to get up. He tried everything to give him a hand up but failed. The score card was a joke too. I had the margin much wider. And the most shocking thing about this bout, sanctioned by the Australian boxing council was the lack of medical attendance of the fighters. At no point did a doctor go in to see how the fighters was doing. Mudine was hurt and no doctor was there to intervene. This whole bout was handled wrongly. It gives Australia no credit to how it manages boxing fights.

It's because clottey is not and ordinary boxer. My guess is that Joshua clottey is from a royal upbringing, so no shame in mundine losing that fight. Also I think on a good day clottey might have come close to losing if not lost against mundine. Thing about mundine is the dude is too white in nature.
I like the fact that Clottey sees what i do- he would give Mayweather problems. I have wanted to see that fight for such a long time, and stupid setbacks have prevented that. The truth is that he isn't a big enough draw to be allowed to make it to that stage and he's been payed off to ensure that. If politics didn't run things, those 2 could meet, and it would be interesting.

Clottey looked ok but a class below the elite. Mundine looked gaunt and weak and went down much easier than any world class fighter would. The commentators should be inducted into the Mundine mutual adoration society with their over the top praise of an average fighter and performance. Hey message Mundine, the reason why no one has won world title fights in 3 descending weight divisions is because they are not stupid enough to try. Dropping weight as you age just makes you weaker and easier to knock down as you proved in this fight. Clottey had it exactly right.

That ref was a joke, he gave Mudine all the time the world to get back up. on the first knockdown he counted to 8 and Mudine wouldn't get up. He then incredibly stopped the count and told him to get up. He tried everything to give him a hand up but failed.
The score card was a joke too. I had the margin much wider. And the most shocking thing about this bout, sanctioned by the Australian boxing council was the lack of medical attendance of the fighters. At no point did a doctor go in to see how the fighters was doing. Mudine was hurt and no doctor was there to intervene. This whole bout was handled wrongly. It gives Australia no credit to how it manages boxing fights.

It's because clottey is not and ordinary boxer. My guess is that Joshua clottey is from a royal upbringing, so no shame in mundine losing that fight. Also I think on a good day clottey might have come close to losing if not lost against mundine. Thing about mundine is the dude is too white in nature.
I like the fact that Clottey sees what i do- he would give Mayweather problems. I have wanted to see that fight for such a long time, and stupid setbacks have prevented that. The truth is that he isn't a big enough draw to be allowed to make it to that stage and he's been payed off to ensure that. If politics didn't run things, those 2 could meet, and it would be interesting.
The political side of boxing ruins everything. But I can't see Mayweather fighting anyone that doesn't earn him big "money". Personally, I would rather see Clottey against more active fighters, maybe a Cotto rematch or Ruslan.

The fight with Miguel Cotto was close, and the only reason it was close is because Joshua Clottey "The Grandmaster of Headbutts" cut Cotto with a headbutt. The fight was even going into the championship rounds and Clottey did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Cotto rose to occasion and was tagging Clottey in the end. Cotto deserved the victory.
