@@Senseigainz they could be worse. Just needs some vocal coaching. The higher parts are kinda iffy. I‘m glad he just did the higher sections lower instead of cracking his voice.
@@Senseigainz I think this mix is one of the best live mixes in the genre. His clean vocals were kinda whack but the mix saved them from sounding unlistenable. That’s pretty impressive. Especially for such a small venue. I think them not being more popular ultimately is because Fearless is much worse than they used to be at promoting any of their bands, they haven’t had that great of lineups live & their genre is really niche. I‘m glad they sound heavier & more progressive but that’s not as popular as the rise core sorta music they used to make.
Hearing them recorded for so long I’d never looked at anything live of theirs. Did not expect the heavy Vox to be this good, damn near some of the most impressive I’ve ever heard live. Cleans pitchiness can be forgiven (they’re not even bad) because as a heavy vox guy your vocal cords don’t always have much left over especially such epic heavies
The mix for this show was incredible I'd never felt anything that clear before. James really did a great job with the screams and the cleans were still decent too. More impressive when you take into consideration this was only day 3 of his first tour (excluding festivals) since 2016
