At the Battle of Iwo Jima, IJA had approximately 20-21k men on the island, of those men only 216 of those were taken prisoner through the course of the battle. Most of those prisoners were taken after they had been rendered unconscious or had been injured and could no longer fight. This video perfectly illustrates the resolve and bravery of the IJA. They inflicted a total of 26,040 casualties on US forces. 6,821 Americans lost their lives, with another 19,217 being wounded. 17,845-18,375 Japanese were killed or reported missing and approximately 3,000 were in hiding.

I don't thinm so, this is actually beter than most WWII movies outthere

Hello everybody, I hope you are fine. I decided to make a machinima related to the Pacific War without using many animations just like the other machinimas. Just a few. I wanted to see how cool would be a machinima made by using the default AI movement and Unit Movement Captures. Well, I was never practiced to this kind of work and I thought that it would be a good idea to learn how to use the default AI movement in such a way that it could be seem real. I can say that it's quite difficult to make a very good movie by using this method, but this fact doesn't mean that there are not any good characteristics to take advantage of. So now I can say that I gained some very useful technics which I am going to use in combination with ArmA3 and ArmA2 animations. So you are going to see much more scene quality and action in the newer movies, than any other previous movie of mine. What's your opinion for all these ??? Thanks a lot for your time and I really hope you enjoy this movie at that fullest !!! Stay tuned and until next video, lock 'n load !!!
Tutorial pls

you do a great job men keep it going !
That's great to hear. I mostly use standard AI in my own videos and they can be quite a hassle to work with at times. :D
This was a brutal fight scene! Just needs mortar, artillery, grenades, and air force, other then that it was awsome!
This is insane!! And one thing I noticed was how well it captured just the pure noise of war. Pretty chilling ending to.
That was so friggin intense. The war in Pacific was bloody hell hole even tiny spack of island 🌴
This was better then a Hollywood movie.
This was intense bro, keep up the great work
Thanks a lot bro. Stay tuned because a very strong machinima is coming up the way !!!
OA
You represented both sides of the war so well, and in just 11minutes! There was barely any dialogue but just the combat represented how both sides. Amazing! Good work! Please make more of these!
Thanks for the kind words bro... Stay tuned for more !!!

Flawless War Gamer, No, thank you for this great entertainment and experience. Keep of the great work!
The Pacific theater was just as savage. Great job!

Just because it wasn't 'as brutal' as something else, doesn't mean it wasn't brutal as all fuck.
@@kingsizeblues616 watch sledges bunker scene from the pacific youll change your mind
I have it on DVD, watched it many times. I think you misunderstood what I said anyway.
THA'TS NOTHING COMPARING THE EASTERN FRONT
Hello I'm Brazilian and I would like to say Thanks for the time and dedication spent to produce the animations the Scenes of shooting remind me a lot the movie the unknown soldier (recommend) sorry for my Google English
Thanks a lot for your kind words bro !!!
The unknown soldier is my favourite movie greetings from Finland!
I’ve watched HBO’s The Pacific countless times but your video by far seems more intense, savage and it clearly captures the desperate situation the Japanese defenders faced. Fighting the overwhelming might of the relentless USMC or opt to kill themselves for not being able to fulfill their duty. Such a tragedy for all involved in the Pacific War.
What is the attackers btw?
Японцы тоже массовые банзай атаки использовали, малоэффктивные, как и русские.
This is one of the best game engine battle scenes I have ever seen. Fantastic work
This machinima got me on the edge
Radio voice on the background repeatedly says,
Enemy infantry and tanks are coming to you.
Due to rador "something indistinct"
Situation is so critical, tell that to major.
Hold out your position until our artillery is redeployed and ready.
Respond! Come in! Do you read me?
Southern Army, anybody there?
My fellow imperial soldiers, all communication from Southern Army cut off, probably annihilated.
Switch to radio frequency 2.
It's whatever, i still enjoy the animation anyway
Haven't seen this one before... One thing about the Japanese they sure didn't quit. Excellent Vid
Machinima; you are a CLASSIC yourself !! ☝️🤛✊💯💪
For me is unfathomable the magnitude of this apocalyptic chapter of Humanity !!
I was shook by the ending
I'm getting some heavy '44 or "45 vibes, def late war. Could theoretically be somewhere like Saipan
That looks like the invasion of Okinawa
I was kinda thinking that? But it seemed to obvious in my opinion
I'm guessing it is the last stronghold of the Japanese in the Solomon islands that is 1944
I was thinking Saipan too.
It looks like the airfield of Peleliu.
Videos such as this are worth waiting for! Keep up the passion bro! 😍❤
Thanks a lot for your kind words bro.... I'll keep it up !!!
Tenno heika banzai
woow. great ending! indeed, flawless.
Thanks a lot buddy. Stay tuned !!!
Bloody well done I always respected the fight till you die option but suicide I was against still takes a lot of courage to be able to do both without a flinch respect to the 🇯🇵 military may be allies for eternity
That was damn good bro. Loved how you have key characters through out it(my personal favorite was the Japanese in the ghili suit) keep killing it my man!〽️💯
In my opinion, make you the best movies in arma 3 🙏🏻 i see the Quality in Detail in every movie! WOW!!!

Thanks a lot my good friend !!!
this is better than many movies!
Another good work dude! Bro I wish if it's possible you can make a video to share your machinima experience. Like the way to keep your frames, how to make such a great atmosphere with so many soldiers and objects. Meantime I love your shooting style and camerawork which make your film really intensive in those kind of situations! Anyway I love your work and keep working on it! 11/10
Thanks a lot for your kind words bro !!! I will try to make a tutorial at some point.
做得太好了,这么优秀的作品不应该只有这么点观看量👍
That last bit from 10:51 to 11:10 literally gave me chills, especially when their leader gave the signal to launch their banzai charge.
That was deep fr. Lol

AMAZING VIDEO.
ONCE AGAIN YOU SHOW YOUR TALENT WITH WWII MOVIES. THE PACIFIC CAMPAIGN IS VERY INTERESTING AND THIS VIDEO SHOWS YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THIS TOPIC.
IN THIS VIDEO, MY FAVORITE SCENE IS THE FINAL ONE THAT SHOWS JAPANESE JUNGLE AND GHILLIED UP SOLDIERS READY TO PERFORM A SURPRISE ATTACK. I LIKE GHILLIE SOLDIERS LIKE SNIPERS.
YOU SHOULD CONSIDER TO CREATE A MOVIE RELATED TO GHILLIE WARRIORS, IT WOULD BE VERY EXCITING.
CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE VIDEO 👍
THANKS 😀
Id love to see machinima of the battle of Iwo Jima with them landing on the beach and then the battle leading up to the flag raising. Then showing the rest of the battle bc a lot of ppl dont really realize the flag raising was only a part of the battle and the fight for the north end of the island was the most dangerous part. You could also show John Basilone and how he went out like a true badass during the battle.
This is the best!!!
thank you paps for inspiration
Excelente trabajo. Felicidades
I am Japanese
It may be that this was actually the Pacific War
There was a lot of realism and I got goosebumps
Especially the "Kamikaze Attack" part was wonderful
Thanks for uploading this video...
What kamikaze? There were no planes involved!?
@@roderickstockdale1678 Kamikaze is not anyway using planes, i mean Banzai charge is also be called "Kamikaze charge/attack" too
No Anime, No Life in what?
@@roderickstockdale1678 I think Kakuta means a Banzai Charge.
We need a Hacksaw Ridge macinima. Just think about it, the Americans being mown down by the Japanese in bunkers and behind sandbags, and after the take the ridge, the next early morning they get Banzai charged off. Subscribed and like the video. Please do more Pacific battles and keep up the awesome work! This was amazing!
Saddening that the poor boys of both sides never made it back alive.

My Grandfather saw extensive battle action as a Marine in the Pacific theater in WWII. This is so realistic considering it is computer generated. You are very good at this. Watching this and live action war movies it is incomprehensible the terror and carnage that these soldiers experienced. I don't know how they did it. But you never know what you can endure until forced to. My Grandfather almost never talked about it. I have a small pocket utility knife he left me sitting on my desk as I type. It was important to him and he always carried it.
In my opinion we have only participated in 4 justified military actions because war is horrific and decided by politicians and their goals.
First was the Revolutionary War. Second our Civil War. Lincoln was right. I visited Gettysburg. So moving. Third WWII. And lastly our aid to Ukraine. A few volunteer Americans have served there but so far almost entirely we are providing weapons / aid / and intelligence - surveillance. Hopefully none of our troops will see action. Thank you for providing this - not as gratuitous violence in my opinion but rather as a demonstration of the terror and carnage of war.
I salute the service and courage of the troops of all wars. It is not their fault that politicians put them in harm's way for the wrong reasons in SOME wars. Once they were there they had to fight for their lives and the lives of their comrades. I support them all but not those that sent them in some cases.
this is just soo good bro! keep up the good work! btw will you make a part 2?
Thanks a lot bro !!! I could make some more pacific battles. I don't know wet, we will see...
Please do make a part 2, and more pacific battles. I’ll give you some ideas: Guadalcanal, battle of the Tenaru/Aligator Creek, Pelileu beach landing, Sugarloaf Hill and please please please please do a Hacksaw Ridge battle. Subscribed btw my man...keep up the absolutely fantastic work!
@@themanwhodoesthediddlydoo4857 Well thanks a lot for the ideas. I could use them : )
very nice! in a good way, it makes me feel like im playing rising storm lol; and the ending is epic!
btw slight tip to make things look more accurate, which imo would make it look much better: unequip the carry handle on the M1918 BAR, since they are more or less a postwar thing; and USMC doesn't use officer bars on their helmets, they'd be using the same camo covers, tho i get maybe you're trying to distinguish them, maybe just give them a different gear like hbt cap or something, but regardless, this is already a really great cinematic, good job!
Very nice video
WOW ! good vid. , credit where it"s due :)
the share numbers of death in pacific takes the cake of the bloodiest battles in ww2
Ground battles...the flak over Europe takes the cake on all GI-involved actions.
All the American service men who fought in all theaters of war are hero's rather they lived or died some just went above and beyond the call of duty for the man to their right an the man to their left
0:45 wonder if the voice on the radio, it’s a commander telling his superiors the battle of going full Fubar & his asking for help or permission to retreat.
Marvellous, pure "Thin Red Line" style ! But where is the flame-thrower !?
Nice excellent fantastic
Dang, how do people do this. Your so talented I am not being sarcastic btw.

Absolutely amazing mate, any advice on how to be as good as you?
Thanks a lot bro !!! I'm going to make a tutorial at some point but until then try to give to your movie a good atmosphere full with stressful intensity of war. No too big scenes, violence, pressure, try to hide every AI weakness, use animations and Unit Captures. Don't try to make a machinima using only the default AI movement. If you stay with these things, you can make a good start. Cheers !!!
