God cares about your companionship. He wants you to not experience loneliness. What a beautiful thing to know about God!
From the very beginning, he made that clear. When he created Adam, he said that it was not a good thing for man to be alone. And after he created Eve, Adam responded in incredible thankfulness. This account is the last account we have of perfection. After this, sin entered into the world and sin has had massive effects on relationships.
Yet, God, in his love, sent his one and only Son to restore our relationship with our Father. And also in his love, he provides companionship for us when we are lonely. For some that's a spouse, for others that's a friend, for still others that is the family of believers. What a blessing from God!
