Amazing analysis of the initial problem, then measuring up and ordering the required hardware, followed by very skilled reproduction of the coils, and then insertion of all coils into selected beds and finally soldering the parts and testing of refurbished motor. Just like watching brain surgery. Very skilled workers.

Considering the conditions you have to work under and the limited equipment at your disposal you guys did a great job.
I was very impressed with the armature winder. He is obviously a craftsman who takes pride in his work.
While I noticed a few things I would suggest you could improve upon I humbly give you one tip now. When soldering a commutator you should always do it below horizontal. That way any excess solder will drop to the ground rather than pool in behind the commutator, which can cause a short circuit.
With that being said, greetings from an old retired Australian armature winder.

I work on motor shops doing the same jobs you guys doing , i love this job, but i don't work any more because i'm 70 years old , you guys are good, nice job , i use to bee proud doing that ,Thanks 1000 times for showing people what is professional job with talent , this presentation make my cry because i no longer do that ( the job i all ways love to do) i love Motors ,Generators and Transformer, Thanks Again .

Flawless work, very difficult this winding repair, much hours precision work is needed, one little short in coil turns and all work is gone is second .. :)

You guys have been trained very well by your boss. (is this a family business? you are all so young) Great skills putting everything together on a very challenging job. Very neat work, but only complaint is copper dust removal by brush. You should use air compressor to clean that up better. Some particles may get trapped inside specially at the commutator area that causes failures. Overall its a very neat winding and precise. Loved it!

You should be very proud of your work. How many times can one of these be rebuilt? Since you have to lathe cut the copper every time it must not be very many? Or can you replace that part as well? Thanks again for the amazing video and greetings from Canada!

Sim ,,Eu trabalhei 40 anos nesse tipo de trabalho fazendo a mesma coisa que eles ai estao fazendo , eu sei exactamente o bom trabalho que eles estao fazendo ,eu gosto muito de motores ,eu como motoes AC tres vezes ao di ( almoco , Jantar e Ceia ), mas Motores DC eu como 24 horas ao dia ,, parece que eu nasci dentro de um Motor DC , imfelizmente estou reformado ja nao trabalho mais , mas choro com saudades desses tempos que nao voltam mais ,.OH deus que saudades sao estas que me fazem chorar .
