wasnt tony kelly and dave kelly was working under penthouse those times ..... i always know it was produce by tony kelly ... but the label say PENTHOUSE . So i though it was done for penthouse .... or was it just distributed by penthouse ?
Djeasy Mark i did "Anything For You" as a remix for EastWest Records, then did the other songs on the riddim and released em on 2b Grafton Road label (Mikey Bennett label)
Anthony Kelly thanks for letting me know ........... i always a big fan of you and your brother Dave kelly ...... in the 90s i was a dj with my sound system ..i could remember buying the marathon lp various artist ... that era was the best in dancehall ... miss those days
@@jakefabian I agree, but 2006-7 was really the end, it really made its final run in 2009. When Mavado and Kartel rise, changed the complex of the genre, completely, not saying they destroyed the genre, they completely changed the authenticity. right riddims don’t exist anymore because artiste have them personal producers, Kartel is the first that started that. Mavado change the sound with how him sing and DJ and kinda open the door for the trap sound, Kartel changed the lyrically content sounds we never heard before, paving the way for the new era. to me Diwali was the final bad riddim, it run de place for years. 2004-2007 was very exciting years especially with the dancing era with Elephant man. 2009 was the death tho😞😞🤯💔🤦♂️🥺😤
