✔️Majuli iland is located in Assam.
✔️ Indus treat : Pakistan and India singed in 1960. India used 20 per cent water of indus total water in purpose of agricultural.
It is most successful treaty between India and Pakistan.

Indus water Treaty - 1960 Meddium - World bank . Pakistan allotted to 3 river i.e Indus, Chenab, Jhelum and India allotted to 3 river i.e Ravi, Beas, and SUTLEJ
Indus treaty was singed between India and Pakistan in 1960 under this treaty Pakistan could use 80 percent water of Indus and Jhelum India could utilize 20 water of Indus and Jhelum also India could use 80 percent water of Ravi beas or satluj

Indus water treaty, 1960
India; Satluj, Ravi, Beas (eastern)
Pakistan: Indus, Chenab, Jhelum. (Western)
India can use 20% of Indus water and unlimited for the purpose of water generation. Currently in news because India Pak to talk over the same after 2018.
I stay in Uttarakhand as well, and yeah bhabar is quite common

Indus water treaty was held between India and Pakistan in 1960 for the distribution of rivers, Indus, jhelum, chenab have 80 percent control of Pakistan and India only have 20 percent . India have control on use of Ravi, beas, satluj .
