Welcome Ginny - what a breath of fresh air you are. Your Nissan X-Trail review was excellent. Its great to have maturity on the Car buyer channel after the ditsy stuff that has been on before. Most people use this channel to get a good review of cars and don't care less where the presenter keeps her bananas, other snacks or where they store their handbag. You and Matt will make a great team. WELCOME!
Immaculate review... very informative... doesn't appear to be regurgitating information she's been fed unlike some who have been and gone... top class review!
I liked Rebecca but she did sound like she was reading from a script a lot of the times. Ginny clearly is a professional, I like her style of the review- she covered all the essentials usually covered by car-buyer! I don't know what everyone's problem is. Good job Ginny!
Ok, here go my two cents: The review was really quite good. I didn't expect it to be, but it was. And I'm sure the quality is only going to improve with time. Now, the people complaining about how she's more formal than Rebecca, or that she's trying too hard - you're wrong. She's not being formal, she's just more mature. Some people seem to get confused by that, but I think it's actually a good thing. And she's not trying 'too hard'. I think her body language was very inviting, which is appropriate for a first-time bonding with the audience (except the part where she spread her legs, while showcasing the back seats - that's not how a lady sits). Now, I hate this about myself, but I have to say it: that's not how one dresses for being on camera. It may present you as friendly and easy-going for some people, but only for some. Other than the above mentioned nit-picks, I really quite enjoyed the review. And Ginny, if you read this (and don't hate me already), don't let some moron bring you down. A lot of people whined about how they don't like Rebecca, when she first appeared on the CarBuyer channel, but they love her now. Give them time :)
She's a really good choice! She talks like she knows what she's talking about rather than talk like she's remembering lines from a script, and she's as natural as a Fifth Gear host. These comments about wanting Rebecca back because she was better looking are ridiculous. If I want to watch a car review, I want to watch it reviewed by somebody who knows what they're talking about, regardless of how they look. I can always bring up the FHM website while I watch it.
Great first review. It's so nice to see cars that aren't sports cars still coming with manual gearboxes!!! Here in the states....You'd be hard-pressed to find a regular SUV that still comes with a manual.
This car has a nice shape and the interior is well designed. The fuel consumption is satisfactory as well as the driving comfort. However there is a blind spot caused by the large outside mirrors especially on the drivers side. This causes an oversight of pedestrians in that area.It is nice to have a rear facing camera but it is advisable not to use it for backing. Only use it to make sure the rear is clear.
I felt like I was watching an advert for the vehicle and not a review. I want to hear pros and CONS! Didn't hear too much gripes with it in this review, and I know it can't be that good compared to its rivals as she said. Needs better comparisons to other vehicles in class, didn't see a good boot review, nor how comfortable or not steering and ride adjustment is
She's wonderful! Happy to see someone with such a rich history of TV and radio presenting with Carbuyer now. Another thing I've noticed is improvement in music, no more amateurish rock motives. Carbuyer is moving in the right direction. Carry on, guys!
okay, Ginny is a real professional as we can see. about the video; she says the car is quiet on the road however you can hear the loud road noise. Nissan suv's always have noise problems( juke and qasqai are both have the problem) and i think this x trail also have the same noise issue.
The official combined figure for a Fiat 500 MJet Diesel is 68.9 MPG. Are you comparing Petrol Engines or from a Market (i.e. US) where the Diesels are not available?
How good are the back seats on long trips? I mean if the adults are small and they fit in well are they comfortable on long trips in terms of the suspension? I think the bumpiness at the rear seats are a multiplies compared to the middle or front seats?
After watching all Rebeca`s videos without missing any of them weekly I will say I will miss her but Ginny you are good don`t get angry but you have a lot of work to do to fill the gap that Rebeca left, but you are on a good road.
Great job! you hit all the points that are important with this car with realistic information that comes clearly with a lot of motoring journalism experience, great review!
Sorry Rebecca but this new host is a lot better than you were. I think this is a very competent review and she actually sounds like she knows what she's talking about. Well done
Good review and one can see that you're a pro, my only complaint is that i would like to hear more about downsides and comparisions to car's rivals - as this is what makes Carbuyer stand out from other reviewers. Good luck :)
Only Pros and no Cons? Part of the reason I watch Carbuyer is to know the Cons of the car. Its a really nice touch know it before we lay our hand on the car. Just my two cents. ;)

Great review by ginny. Have watched her reviews from motor week and others. Always very easy on the eye and professional. I will miss Rebecca but everyone got to move on eventually. She will show up somewhere else. I prefer the old x trail as it better off road. Good review. Matt and ginny will be a great team.
No mention of CVT Auto ? Not a good example of steering - you really shouldn't have your hands at 10/11 on the steering wheel. Otherwise , a really comprehensive and fast flowing car review. No stupid jokes which is nice too.
Hello Is this car mid option standered or full option and every model comes with touch screen , reverse camera, sensors, Sun roof and back seats or no thank you
I really appreciate that she told us her height as she sat in the rear seat. This is one of the most important things often ignored by car reviewers! Most of them simply said "...the leg room is good, the head room is good..." but that's f*cking useless if the viewers don't know how tall you are!
She's pretty good! But I find Rebecca more pleasant to watch and her reviews have a more structured flow. Put her back on please! I wouldn't mind 3 carbuyer reviewers, makes everyone happy! Come back, Rebecca!
She is very comfortable with the camera and speaks very calm and clearly. No cheesy puns. Liking her already!!
Good review overall, however the lack of bananas definitely had a negative impact on this video.

Good job! No nonsense, good review. Addressing the real concerns of a real car buyer. Thank you!
She´s very confident, tha car looks like a Lexus RX from behind.
To me the back somehow looks like the Renault Zoe
Well, she's been a motoring journalist for quite a while now
FiredEmpire That too!
Andreas Lie Didn´t know that, tks for sharing!
Np;)

Many thanks and all the best Rebecca. Welcome Ginny! Great first review!

She is really good, just weird not seeing Rebecca after 4 years of watching
She did a great job! Although I will miss Rebecca!
Nice to see Ginny back on our screens, takes me back to Granada of the '80's and '90's !!!
Is it just me or her voice reminds me of the satnav female voice?
I actually find it very soothing and pleasant to hear.
Just booked a test drive with this car for next monday. Looking forward to it, it does seem like a good car
Great first review. It's so nice to see cars that aren't sports cars still coming with manual gearboxes!!! Here in the states....You'd be hard-pressed to find a regular SUV that still comes with a manual.
her voice suits a news reporter more... sorry to say but Rebecca is my all time voice T^T gonna miss her...lets go marathon on her old videos

Carbuyer is moving in the right direction. Carry on, guys!
Ginny is a great addition to the Carbuyer channel. Well done!
I like her voice. And overall. She does good work.
Ah what a distinctive front, a cross between Mike Tyson and a face lift when the knife slipped! Marvelous.
okay, Ginny is a real professional as we can see.

She said 56 mpg? I listened twice to that, sure sounded like 56? A fiat 500 won't give 40? I skimmed the comments no one mentions this? Wtf
The official combined figure for a Fiat 500 MJet Diesel is 68.9 MPG.

Great first review, relaxed and informative. Well done.
Great first video Ginny! You did a really good job!
Ginny welcome to carbuyer
I like Ginny's formal approach to presenting/reviewing; good choice, Carbuyer!
Nice review!
great narrative! great voice as well! Looking forward to more videos from you!
Great addition to the Carbuyer team. And unless I'm mistaken, the voice from the Whatcar video voiceovers?
After watching all Rebeca`s videos without missing any of them weekly I will say I will miss her but Ginny you are good don`t get angry but you have a lot of work to do to fill the gap that Rebeca left, but you are on a good road.
My dad just booked this car.
How has it been?
Great job! you hit all the points that are important with this car with realistic information that comes clearly with a lot of motoring journalism experience, great review!
That was a wonderful review, Ginny. Looking forward to more!
Sorry Rebecca but this new host is a lot better than you were. I think this is a very competent review and she actually sounds like she knows what she's talking about. Well done
She does a really nice review, there is room for improvements on the voice-over though
Do you guys cast based on height?
Good review and one can see that you're a pro, my only complaint is that i would like to hear more about downsides and comparisions to car's rivals - as this is what makes Carbuyer stand out from other reviewers. Good luck :)
I liked Rebecca, but this was a great review, great overview over the most important aspects of the car. Wellcome Ginny!
Only Pros and no Cons?
Part of the reason I watch Carbuyer is to know the Cons of the car. Its a really nice touch know it before we lay our hand on the car.
Just my two cents. ;)

I miss Rebecca
here we go
Honestly, the new host isn't making the transition hard. She's pretty good.
Look like we miss that bananas
I think she does it just fine.
5 feet 4' ???
where is the rest half?)
No mention of CVT Auto ?
Not a good example of steering - you really shouldn't have your hands at 10/11 on the steering wheel.
Otherwise , a really comprehensive and fast flowing car review. No stupid jokes which is nice too.
The day time lights are everything.
woman reviews a car :you must buy The parking sensors😄
where is Rebecca?! Want that beautiful 5'4 and a half back ;)
Very good first review from Ginny; like the look of that X-Trail
Tried interior the other day and a lot more comfy that Qash' and very nice manual gear change feel. Would take this over Qashqai
Go on the "Men And Motors" channel. There's a lot of videos of her reviewing cars in the 1990's with Richard Hammond.
Hello
Is this car
mid option standered
or full option and every model comes with touch screen , reverse camera, sensors,
Sun roof and back seats
or no
thank you
Wow great review 👍
That was a good review, definitely up to Carbuyer standards, well done!
Also, I would really like to see a review of the new Mercedes C Class.
I really like her, her reviews are very professional and spot on.
Great review as a first. Looking forward to the coming ones.
I Like her. Welcome! But I still miss Rebecca
Great job at finding a replacement for Rebecca! Ginny is a great presenter and she has a nice voice.
She's not nervous, that's probably her style and I like her as much as previous lady.
very good review
Nice review Ginny !
5ft 4? It seems all British women are the same size.
I like her style, more sophisticated.
Very good first review. Like her a lot :)
I really appreciate that she told us her height as she sat in the rear seat. This is one of the most important things often ignored by car reviewers! Most of them simply said "...the leg room is good, the head room is good..." but that's f*cking useless if the viewers don't know how tall you are!
Good review, and no more five foot four and a half.... hurrah
I miss Rebecca too!!!!!! :(
very good review, very detailed, and the presentation is very confident, relaxed, i like her more than rebbeca already...
welcome!!!! greetings from germany!
Big shoes to fill, but I think she did pretty well. Good work!
But there are no cons. What, is the car perfect or is carbuyer changing it's tone to "no negative sides, only things to wish for"?
I like her 😊 she's got a confident voice and I reckon she'll be great after a few reviews 😊
She's into her 40s, which makes her much more attractive.
Is't just an expensive Dacia Duster, but with better designed exterior. At least, the Duster can go off road really well.
She's pretty good! But I find Rebecca more pleasant to watch and her reviews have a more structured flow. Put her back on please! I wouldn't mind 3 carbuyer reviewers, makes everyone happy! Come back, Rebecca!
Well presented first video. Well done :)
Hi is it only 10cm longer than the Quasqai? I'm concidering trading up from my Quasqai😃
Good first review.
Brilliant review, I enjoyed it. Thank you.
I like Ginny! But will miss the beautiful Rebecca.
The intro i love it
those arms
Don't start with her too.
lol
***** lol
You've passed Ginny - a good presenter
I like Ginny - excellent first review. Does anyone else detect a hint of Welsh in her accent? Even more reason to like her!
You doing great Buckley... Keep up with tht! ;)
great x trail review
great job
She sounds more professional. Having that Fifth Gear sort of charisma.
She is very good. I like her. Good pick Carbuyer.
Great review
Great job Ginny!
good review ginny
Love those rims! Wish the rogue in Canada (same car) had those rims for the SL version unlike the one it is already
She's too much of a Pro for this channel. More of a fifth gear type presenter
Could you please review the Volvo V40 T5? There aren't many on the net to give a thorough insight into the pros and cons. Thank you
Her voice sounds very familiar. It feels like the voice in TomTom SatNav.
For this one better it remains with 5 seater for carrying more people comfortably i would go for a full sized SUV or a minivan
