And then there’s me: the noob Linux user who said “screw you!” To those saying that I’m going to struggle. Please, I have a phone. I’ll figure it out! *PAIN BE DAMNED!*
Another tip that I picked up from trying out arch is dont use mouse when selecting tools you csn use arrow to click on the category like "wireless" and use the arrows to get back to menu if you wanna select a different category
The main argument I've heard for all the tools is "well the more you have the less you need, covers all bases" which makes some sense but feels like overkill
This almost reminds me of Redhat back in '98. I was 14 with no internet installing it on an old Compaq machine. Had to buy the cd at a staples.. couldn't afford windows. That was much harder to figure back then. Damn thing took me 19hrs install.
I know that struggle!! My step-dad brought a Red Hat disc home for my birthday around that same time when I was 12. Spent entire days trying to install it on my hand-me-down desktop.
For anyone who doesn't know why gpt is a thing I use it mainly when you boot into UEFI instead of Legacy meaning if you have an error try making a EFI partition using GPT
@@ministryofintelligence5498 parrot is a great os i have used it for like a month and i like it its fast and its based on debian so its also easy to use i have switched to normal arch btw
i Just found black arch. I just built an arch system from base to desktop. Very minimal install. I am building black arch on top of arch and let me tell ya something; give yourself some time for a full install. 50 gigs of potential data. Mine is going to run over night in hopes its done in the am. I am building it inside of vmware player. I love arch for a desktop and thought it would be a nice project.
ZEROED PARTITION Start with an in-memory zeroed partition table. This option does not zero the partition table on the disk; rather, it simply starts the program without reading the existing partition table. This option allows you to create a new partition table from scratch or from an sfdisk-compatible script. Courtesy of the Debian man pages. (Low key could find ways to screw with that)
Yes it "basically" does which is how more experienced people follow it, for someone who's only previously used Windows or MacOS they would likely have an interesting time, not to mention that most people don't know much if anything about partitioning.
To be honest blackarch sucks ass i used that crap a lot years ago always had some shitty problems that you have to waste time to fix that shit.. You want a an os with toolset to do the god damn job not to feel "elite" configuring stupid errors in the operating systems that shouldn't be there in the first place. You want a feel like a pro? Install freebsd and then your tool set one by one dumb ass. At least you gonna have a real operating system
I love tinkering and have been looking for a new project. I want to learn Linux, i acn use basic Linux, should i just start here if i can cope and move back too Kali etc if i get stuck? I have a LOT of time on my hands. I have BlackArch Full in VM & as a live iso. thanks.
hi guys im tryng to use hawk tool in blackarch it is asking to turn wlan0 into monitor mode how can i change t to my adapter setting which is nt wlan0.
Use blackarch llinux slim the regular blackarch has to many tools that you wont even use i find the regular blackarch useless but blackarch linux slim is wayyyy better
Is what they said true? If you add blackarch on Manjaro, the os would fail over time? So keep it separate for best results? Btw, how is the slim version? Is it a good stable distro version? What are your thoughts?
I recommend installing on top of arch. I’ve done all 3 and will say it’s the most stress free option

Its 3 years, blackarch is the best of its own kind for me 👍
after 2 years of experience with Kali Linux bacbox and parrot OS... Now he time has come to explore Blackarch Linux
yo it's good?

I feel like this a 'My toolkit is bigger than yours' OS just for the hell of it haha
Yeah kinda haha
That or you just want to keep up the stereotypical arch elitism

@@kevinmorrice yea I have to agree. It makes sense, but it is a bit much.
@@ultraluxeest1991 true, but at least there's a sensible reason, unlike the sorry excuses arch users give for being massive dicks

Aight any tips on to how to be better at resolving dependencies

I know I’m late to this video, but thank you for making it KK. 👍
“KK”?!?! Are you a white supremacist?
I would prefer to use Linux as host operating system to use Black Arch on KVM rather on Virtual box
You can also just add the repo to any arch based system
Remember this is a 15gb ISO file
Now it’s 18gb lol

you have to direct to the actual dir where that py file is in order to use it the way you tried otherwise it has a syntax error.
