"Whenever they speak Michael Jordan, they should speak Scottie Pippen" - Michael Jordan
#TheLastDance
Expecto Patronum yessir
one of the most underrated ever. top 30 player ever in my opinion!
Drewbee 2442 Best Teammate according to MJ :)
Expecto Patronum haha Jordan called pippen Selfish will always remember that when he said that. I feel so bad for pippen
Davod Hashimi Signed 7 year contract worth 18 Million -.- i feel more bad about that.
Scottie wasn't a side kick. He was one of the founding pillars of the bulls dynasty.
Yup he was one of my favorite player beside sir Charles and Vernon Maxwell and of course MJ
Jordan didn't carry the whole team.
Pippen is a nba legend
Max Sweater annnnd a sidekick
Stephen Nkwelle MJ was so great he would make anybody next to him look like a sidekick, pippen was still a superstar in his own right
This guy did absolutely EVERYTHING. It’s disgusting how underrated he is
@@fitnesslk dude he was Lebron before Lebron
probably because he was born in Arkansas and thats where i live
mhm id say so. have you seen michael jordan?
He has an argument for 2nd all time in my opinion
Funny thing is at the time, he wasn't underrated at all. I think everyone thought of Scottie as a Top 10 player in the league, even a top 5 possibly. Dream Teamer, started most all-star games in the 90s alongside MJ. When you thought Bulls, you didn't just think MJ. You thought MJ and Pippen, a tandem. Like Steph and Clay before. You knew one was better, but they're pretty damn close.
He jumped like Mike
His defens was like Rodman
He handled the Ball like Magic
His Mindset was like a monster since 1991 eastern conference.
why did you mention the 1991 eastern conference ?
A Mindset like Bird
Didn’t quite jump like mike
if only his shooting was like anyones
@@user-mm4qv6vr5zPippen could jump out the arena didn’t you see the last dunk of the comp on Barkley
After watching the last dance and actually getting to see how good Scottie really was I have a different respect for him now Scottie might be the greatest on ball defender ever

Wowua-cam.com/video/J7sJd251_9E/v-deo.html
@Kawhi’s Uncle Dennis because back then all that being gmen can do is camp under the rim and just blocks shots. Pippen can block steal take charge help defense and get back fast he can pressure PGuards with or without the ball contesting evry shot of any player. The only problem is he is on mjs shadow that is why he can't get what he deserved.
@@hjg5758 Did he win MVP ? ? FMVP ? ?
Scotte Pippen never led his team to the Nba Finals as a leader, like Reggie Miller, Clyde Drexler.
Random fans like to say that Scotte Pippen is underestimated.
@@allanhouston6759 you have to watch it bruh. Research it, ask about it. Dennis rodman didn't win FMVP AND YET HE IS THE MVP vs the SONICS FINALS. Because JORDAN will always be the face of th NBA not the bulls but the NBA. Scottie won 50game with the bulls when jordan retired the first time without a good cast. Shouldve been to the finals that year but got sabotaged. Went to blazers changed the team affected the team bigtime. Got sabotaged again. You know why??they can't let him win without jordan.
@@hjg5758 7-ppg FMVP ? ? You"re delusional.
1993/ 1994 season: Chicago Bulls added 4 new players, they also managed to keep Horace Grant in their ranks. JORDAN never played with the supporting cast that Scotte Pippen had in the 1993/94 season.
Horace Grant, Toni Kucoc, Armstrong, Steve Kerr, Luc Longley.
The Bulls defeated the CAVS in the First Round because the 2 best CAVS players were injured and did not play. - Brad Daugherty and Larry Nance - injuries.
The Bulls lost in the Second Round of the Knicks.
Chicago Bulls vs Knicks with JORDAN 5-0, without MJ 0-1.
Nobody sabotaged anyone.
1994/95 season: Without JORDAN 34-31, with MJ 13-4.
Without JORDAN, the Chicago Bulls have evolved from the best team in the league to a team that can skip the Playoffs.
Scottie Pippen was the perfect killing machine.
6'8" build and lean like a sprinter, strong, fast, very elusive and rarely losses his temper and focus.
So right about pips mentality. He was always smiling ,laughing when Rodman would get in his scrap fights with opponents. PIP....THAT'S ONE BAD ASS NBA PLAYER!
Glad that he is getting his due he has long deserved now. He was the prototype "positionless" 2-way player.
Lol getting his due now?? Maybe the younger guys just realizing his greatness now since they couldnt see live.
jacob svetich no bruh they really hate on pippen especially the older crowd all I here is mj made him and he really wasn’t that good. Shoot skips Bayless is famous for hating on pippen.

michael jackson said that?

Not true, Jim Henson could do fine without Frank Oz, Tom Hanks could do well without Tim Allen, MJ would do just fine without Pippen

Scottie & Michael were made to play together. Incredible! 🏀

literally i'm glad he's getting his due, after i saw those first two episodes of the last dance, truly i have so much respect for him and what he had to do to accomplish, still can't believe he was the 122nd highest paid player in the league then, SMH they didn't put respect on his name.

Yep, he is the personification of that.
Who else is a fan of Scottie Pippen?

Cait Robinson me dude
We wouldn’t be here if we werent
MLG_Gamer1 I’m not a fan but got to see greatness
Fan from day 1 back in the day. My favorite player has always been #33. Great Defender, fast as a cheetah and I forgot how explosive he was on the basket, but man he was a beast, and moreover he was gracious and humble.
I do! Loved him more than Jordan as a tyke!
this guy is forever a legend
Scottie is extremely underrated and i understand his frustration being in MJ's overshadowing. It took everyone's eye's from being able to appreciate Scotties true greatness.
Pippen was a BEAST!
The best player in the league next to Jordan. Glad they are finally showing his game domination. The BEST 2 way player EVER.
@Devin Patterson 🤣🤣
@@mistasix20 LMAO

@@blo2706 he was second best in the league at one point
Scottie Was RAWWW PERIODT!!! LOVEUP
Scottie Pippen one of the greatest small forwards of all time.
Yep, no matter how you define that, I agree. Most complete small forward I ever saw play and could guard and play every position if and when needed. Simply amazing. If you want 30 or 35 points consistently a night scoring as your ideal, OK he is not your guy. If you want someone who does everything overall at an elite level within a game, then he is your guy. I have been watching since the mid 70's.
There were many times and many games that I thought Pippen was a bigger problem for opposing teams than MJ.
Say that one more time. I agree they all did it together.
Ofcourse he was, thats what make a team, and best “2nd best player” in team ever imo, like when jordan was doubled, or plastered, pippen pulled strings, was amazing to watch
0:24 MJ said go right ahead
Yup , the goat aont selfish
Abd i didnt see lebron in that clip?
@@abd3948 He used to be selfish. That's why he never got past the first round of the playoffs until Pippen came.
@La'Rue Mathis Wrong! He was 'literally' in the playoffs for 3 years. His sorry record without Pippen was 9 losses out of 10 games. Jordan got swept 2 years in a row.
He had John Paxson, Charles Oakley, and Orlando Woodridge. Some pretty damn good players if you knew the game in that era.
@@l31007 LMAO The Bulls were one of the worst teams in the league when the Bulls drafted Jordan. Oakley, Wooldridge, Paxson and Gervin were all on the 85-86 Bulls, and they only won 23 games without Jordan that season. Pippen wasn't even a top 50 player in the league his rookie season, didn't even make an All-Rookie team, M.Jackson won ROTY. Stop with the revisionist history.
Crazy how many people who claim they love the game of basketball don’t respect Scottie how they clearly should man is a all time great
Scottie is top 20 all time imo. He could score at will and his defensive game is second to none.
Second threepeat he avg 15ppg on 40%fg.. lol, that’s hardly scoring at Will, in fact he was a liability scoring the ball.. it’s amazing they won 3 straight championships with him putting up those scoring numbers..

@@remyd8767 Your right without both there would be no dynasty.
The point is, everyone raves about Jordan - rightly so - but Pippen is the feature of THIS vid, hence the comment, who played a major role winning championships alongside the GOAT. OK? Busy bodies can come out your feelings now 😉😅
@@yesmymajestybut898 my point is that it's a team sport. Even Toni kukoch was important. Without him hitting critical 3s the 2nd three peat would never have happened.
One of my favorite players. Ever since I watched the "The Last Dance" I felt like if there was no Scottie, there will be no championships for Chicago Bulls.
Yes
MJ said the same thing
@@chrismullaney9042 yup
u had to watch the last dance to come to that conclusion? i came to that conclusion in 1992 because i was still in denial in 1991 but after the second title i was convinced they would keep winning if they kept these two together, my prediction aged right.. they didnt lose in the finals together EVER.. no other duo in nba history will ever be able to say that
" Scottie wants to defend all 5 of em"

Always been. Fan of Pippen! He’s the reason I wore 33 on my back in high school! He’s def one of the GOATs
The way he jumped and extended his soul to make the plays is so freaking awesome. All those steals/ pass the ball behind the back and dunk are sooo cool and hard to do IRL games on the regular
Thank goodness The Last Dance is reminding me how much I love Pippen. One of the best defenders of all-time
Give that man his flowers now. Beautiful fluid, athletic, elite skilled champion.
He wasn't just great offensively, but one of the best defensive players to ever play the game. He wasn't as finesse as Jordan, but arguably more stronger and more explosive. He also made 978 3 pointers to Jordan's 581. Not to take anything away from the greatest, but just giving Scottie his credit here. I just don't think he gets enough.
One of my favorite hoopers of all-times
MJ is 🐐... But Pippen is my Favorite player all time. Better two way threat as far as defense and offense than a lot of other forwards listed above him. Top 50 earned and stamped. 🙌
Scot pippen is finally getting his roses 🌹
Scottie was so versatile!😍
Scottie Pippen was an amazing underrated player! His athleticism was unrivaled in his era.
There is no doubt that scottie Pipen was and is the best player ever in the NBA.😊

Wow... Pippen was a legend, I would say easely the MVP of his era.
It's funny how underpaid Scottie Pippen was. 122th in the NBA. He was literally the 2nd best player in the League during the first 3-Peat in 91-93.
Big Poppa exactly and Jordan called pippen selfish for that

Pippen was probably the most memorable with his moves in the NBA in the 80s. I started in a league at 7 and played til about age 30. Used to love watching nba with the old man. Tx Pippen for the memories!
the most underrated player ever!!!
I don't think people today realize how good Pippen really was. I mean maybe the best defensive player in the league during his prime.
The best all rounder player to ever to do it.
Best second man of all time mark my words
Scottie Pippen would be the perfect small ball 4 in today’s era.
Teams nowadays covet long athletic forwards who can guard and play multiple positions.
Offensively he’s like Paul George with better playmaking
Defensively he’s like Andrei Kirilenko (most underrated defender for the last 20 years)

u could say he’s like PG on defense too PG and scottie are like the same players
look scottie was a great fast break scorer but pg is a better overall scorer but playmaking they are comparable though Pippen is better
thelegendsqb1 ua-cam.com/video/okuD6rp1uMM/v-deo.html
@@buffjesus9414 how is PG a better scorer. PG take few more shots that and slightly better 3 point shooter, that it. Scottie is a better mid-range shooter, a better slasher to basketball with quick first step, and better low post player. Scottie played with Mike, who was the featured player for the Bulls. That not an excuse, that was just a fact.
Legend
Scottie Pippen you were always one of my heroes growing up!

This is the reason why scottie was MJs sidekick. Dude was a beast, I wish I was old enough to see all these games. But I'm stuck with wonderful highlights. And at least I can remember the last championship lol
YOu can watch old basketball games. Just find the torrent.
If by "side kick" you mean the guy you can't win in the biggest moments without, then yes I agree.
I just don't agree that "side kick" is the right term here.
Side kick is disrespectful to a man of his calibre
The Dunk on McHale... Damn!!!
For those wondering if Pippen was the 2nd best player in the NBA at the think about this. Chuck Daly said Pippen and Jordan were the best players in the 92 Dream Team. Also Pippen was the best player on the 96 Dream Team. Had he not sit out those 11 games in the 93-94 sesaon the Bulls would've had 60 wins, which would be the 2nd best record in that season and better than their prior year with Jordan.
There's definitely a good argument to be made for Pippen, and I believe Daly. Pippen really thrived when he could be the point forward, and both Magic and Stockton were hurt for parts of those Olympics. The tricky thing in looking at 1994 is that there were quite a few players capable to leading a team to 50-60 wins and a solid playoff run. A great season for Pip, to be sure, though.
Sjecam se kad je tek poceo da igra niko nije ni sanjap da ce jednog dana biti toliko veliki i utjecajni igrac, svaka cast Pipen ziv bio. Hvala sto podrzavas Kosovo republiku ❤💞

Scottie Pippen is definitely among the most underrated NBA players in history. He could shoot, rebound, block, steal, and run plays from anywhere on the court. He and MJ were unstoppable as a duo, but Scottie was every bit as important to that dynamic as MJ.
