My mom always tease me of being an ARMY, saying I am too old (34) for this, they are ugly, etc. Her friend, who is 65yrs old also is an ARMY and she says the same thing about her to me. I understand where my mom comes from, and I don't try to explain to her. I just simply tell her, they are different, my love for them is more than that. I know she will never understand and that's ok, I still love her dearest. I also notice my husband asking me about BTS, their music, and I appreciate it even though I think he still doesn't understand what they mean to me.

BTS connects people like no other. BTS & ARMY have something different & special. It's so hard to put into words for the GP; it's like a cult that way. So mysterious from outside, but then you GET it; & you are ARMY. Like you, they dont have to be your every waking moment to feel that. I dismissed "K-Pop" for years (to be fair, '95-'97 Korean club music was bad Euro-pop when I was there). Having been a Korean linguist! They have given me support, love, friends, comfort, HOPE. A Butter ARMY, I fell hard & saw them in LA/LV & will be in Oakland for Yoongi! Be yourself, we appreciate honesty! 💜

Jino, I have been here since the first uploaded video :) and I have seen most of the live streams. I rarely comment and sometimes because of time differences, I watch lives afterward. Watching your videos became routine for me. When you don't post, I wonder where you are. My family knows you too, cause I always tell them I am busy watching your lives. They think you are my friend or something
