they get really jealous when a male idol touches or interacts with someone who is female this is why a lot of idols cannot date publicly you'd think they were doing more but that's just the culture in korea watch korean dating show and unlike in american dating shows where they hook up at first sight (to be fair, they pick people that do this specifically and not normal people lol), koreans ones they even wait to hold hands and it's supposedly such a big deal so yes, this is a difference in culture it's not good because the boys should be able to interact and dance with women but it is what it is (also, keep in mind korean men are still men so just because of this if you do plan to go to korea don't think every relationship/interaction will be like a k-drama despite this there are many videos on the reality here on youtube if you go looking... there are a lot of great korean men and a lot of great men from any country you go to but it doesn't mean there aren't bad ones, some people have unrealistic expectations which is why i'm saying this bc maybe some will see this comment and say 'i wish men here were more respectful' etc. )
