Love this tree! I'm working on my own version using a Weeping Barbados Cherry and a cement statue. I haven't uncovered the roots yet...maybe at the end of summer...but I'm hopeful it will look at least half as good as yours. At least the tree is still alive!
I have a Green Island Ficus bonsai too. I lost a couple branches this last winter when I brought it into my house. I’m glad you talked about your setback on yours and how you treated it so I know I’m doing the right thing by just letting it do it’s thing for awhile 👍
