I love Aloha, I love the change of pace and Ash being Cynthia's son is perfect. I hope y'all give Ash a Golispod, as I wished he caught the wimpod during Sun and Moon. It's also good to see Plus Ultra Man teaming up with you! I love what he and Ronin Charizard have done with if Giovani sponsored Ash and I belive I will love this series as well.
This is such a cool idea for a what if! I love both of your work, so I am extremely excited for the next episode. I am loving this more mature and refined Ash, who obviously has traits of Cynthia, but deep down is still similar to the young boy from pallet town.
Ok, I definitely didn’t see Jangmo-O coming lol. I love that shiny Pawniard also, as Bisharp is a personal favorite mon of mine, so here’s to Ash making it his 3rd team member. I also love a more competent Ash to start the series, he gives some prodigy vibes, and give him an Alola mon for an Alola story is awesome and something I’ve been desiring in the what ifs. Can’t wait to see more.

I literally just found and started listening/watching this and I'm already all for it lmfao. I write a lot of fanfiction, and my latest Pokémon story goes all out with Ash's Aura connection although the story isnt about him. It's centered about two main OC legacy protagonists in Ash and Cynthia's son (with a silly origin as to how they got together in the first place) and Jessie and James' daughter. Theres also a harem aspect to it in the terms of Aura Users would have harems to keep their numbers up. Also Distortions, Shadow Giratina, Shadow Pokémon and so much more I havent even begin to get close to writing up lol. Sorry for the synopsis, but this vid inspired me to put it there. Might be a bit of shameless self-promoting but eh, maybe someone finds the idea interesting idk

So Ash is gonna get a shiny Pawniard. Neat. But from the framing, seems like Pawniard leans into being a defence tank with...I'm leaning on defiant as it's ability and endure as one of it's moves. Makes thematic sense.
I like how this au is set in ahola and takes more details from games such as Lillie being Kuki's assistant Guzma being introduce at the beginning instead of the end, and Kuki and Barnet already being married.
I have to imagine that Cynthia here is also at least a good 8 to 10 years older. From her artwork she looks to be in her early to mid-twenties and Cynthia doesn’t seem to be the type to end up with a teenage pregnancy

If you can provide me a link to something that proves you are correct please provide it because I can’t find anything myself.

The fact that the story has Ash as the child of Cynthia is an absurd premise in and of itself, It’s best to roll with it and nothing too hard about it

Honestly? We need a game where the playable character is Cynthia's child. Obviously, it's to be revealed at the end of the game, or at the mid-point. With hints along the way, such as "Mum rarely comes home, she seems afwully bussy researching the Legends and Ruins of the Ancient Past.", "My Gible was raised from an egg which I had received as a gift." or "This are Mum's photos, they are of her and some of the trainers she has met in the different regions she has visited.". Edit: You know what? Fuck it, I'll try to make one myself... despite being an Absolute Donkey when it comes to coding.
Alright, I finally decided to sit down and watch Pickled Drill Pokémon what ifs, and so far, I'm really enjoying it. 👍 So Ash's starter is a Jangmo-o. How fitting since in Pokémon EX Cynthia got a Kommo-o. Dang it I was hoping Ash would get the Eveee so he could have an Espeon later since Gladion has an Umbreon on his team. 😑 Hm? 🤔 Lusamine doesn't like Cynthia for some reason I wonder why? Man adding in Ash's normal unpredictability and adding him strategic early too in his journey makes him a force to be reckon with. Anyways another really good to this series, and will check out the next part.
Im just really confused as to why he starts his journey in alola and not sinnoh? If Cynthia is ash’s mum it would make sense for it to start in her home region
Great first part the only things I wasn't a huge fan of were Ash not catching the Eevee but hopefully he will in a later part and the inclusion of Hau yea he's Halas grandson but he's literally THE WORST PART about Alola he makes Cameron look compitant 😂
Also with the algorithm out the way, I have high hopes for lil Pawnie. Have a feeling he's gonna be like Riolu from journeys. After the awkward start he and Ash had that is. Just a ride or die type muhh, ready for all types of smoke for his homie. Also kinda like the blind Riolu from the Roninverse. The smoke deliveries on ten hunnid

Cynthia is canonically 33 and the artwork doesnt look any younger than she is drawn in the anime or games she just looks young for her age
