They removed it and added the Fast and the Furious ending portion of the ride they also removed the Mummy portion at the end of the Fast and the Furious stuff it does suck that they remove it
That was built as a test to see how those robotic arms would function and to check durability. I thought it was a weird thing too but it served it's purpose
