In Peach’s, they’re in the order you fight them in New Super Mario Bros. U. Unlike Mario’s and Peach’s, you don’t fight Bowser Jr. in Yoshi’s route. The order the Koopalings are fought in New Super Mario Bros. Wii is the same as in Super Mario World.
for those who don't know the bowser battle is a reference to yoshi's island's final boss where baby bowser grows huge and yoshi fights him off thats why bowser is giant because he looks most like baby bowser (baby bowser and bowser jr. are two different characters)

Yoshi’s Fighter #5. His fighter number coincides with her debut game Super Mario World, specifically Star Road. There are five portals to Star Road in SMW.
And the name (Jurassic Journey) is because Yoshi is a dinosaur.

The reason why the route is called Jurassic Journey is because Yoshi is a dinosaur, and the enemies in this route represent dinosaurs/reptiles.
My guess for prehistoric creatures represented by the opponents in Yoshi's route:
Ivysaur: Dicynodont
Ridley, Charizard, and Rathalos: Pterodactyls (since popular pterodactyl depictions in fiction tend to make them look like dragons)
King K. Rool: Either a prehistoric crocodile (e.g. Deinosuchus or Sarcosuchus/super croc) or a spinosaur (e.g. Spinosaurus, Baryonyx, Suchomimus, or Irritator)
Koopalings and Bowser: Prehistoric turtles or ankylosaurs (Bowser himself also has dinosaur-like characteristics, and Bowser is a giant as a reference to Giant Baby Bowser in Yoshi's Island)
(Rathalos could also be a reference to the fact that dinosaur fossils in ancient times were once mistaken for dragon bones)

Yoshi’s route can be quite difficult depending on intensity but I have reached 2M several times. Just requires a lot of skill and trying not to die once

I'm not gonna brag, but considering he's my main, I actually manage to get Yoshi past 2.1 MILLION (and to be fair, he's the only one I EVER got up to that high of a score with)! With the help of his neutral, flutter-kicking ability in mid-air.
The Tall Titan I scored above 2.1 million with Wario and Donkey Kong too. This may surprise you, but my highest score isn't from Yoshi, it's from Wario.
