Thanks a lot for that helpfull video! A tip from my side: It is very important to set all the layers you want to calculate to the same KBS. Otherwise it won't work.
Can this be extended to calculate the nearest X distances to the nearest polygon? For example: if there is a layer with 100 lakes, and you want to know the nearest 10?

I'm sorry it didn't work for you...were you able to be successful using a different dataset?
What is the unit of the distance?
for sure it is in metre (SI unit)
