Aibo's view

This aibo is now for sale to buyers within Australia.
Murphy puts his pink ball on his station pole, chases the cat, and then goes to recharge
Murphy is an Aibo ERS7, running the Mind 3 software. I got him second hand off ebay.
The entertainment player program lets you remote control the Aibo over WiFi, and you can play music through the aibo too.
This video was recorded from an iphone camera as well as using windows media encoder to capture the entertainment player program.

Whatever you can tell me would be a great help so basically have Windows 11 and I want to set mines up or is there a specific voice command that I can reset it from normally

You want to factory reset it?
Once it's powered on, hold the two back buttons 1 and 3 for a few seconds. That gets you into the menu, where you can reset it
Whatever you do, do not format the memory stick on your computer.

I saw the software used to do this on eBay on a disk. I didn't know that's how you could do this

These programs work just fine on Windows 11. I just tested it.
But Aibo is VERY old. It will not connect to modern wi-fi.
If you want to try it anyway, you will need to set your Wi-fi to WEP mode.
To setup the Wi-Fi on Aibo memory stick, plug it into a computer and run the AIBO WLAN Manager 3 program.
This program comes on the Aibo CD, in the WLAN folder. Set these settings to match your wireless.

If you are not sure whether the Aibo connected to the Wi-Fi, you press the back buttons 1 and 3, enter Clinic mode, and check "Condition and motion". The first thing the Aibo will tell you is if the Wireless is working and what the IP address is.
If it says the IP address begins with 169.254, then it did not connect and you need to check the Wi-Fi router settings match what is on the memory card.

For my ERS-7 I have a separate old WEP router I use just for him!

@@Aibodogs Yep, that's best, and dont leave the router turned on when not using Aibo wi-fi, because WEP is VERY not safe.
