God, I'm sore from just watching. They should do something like this in the Olympics' gymnastics competition. Grade on originality, difficulty and low injury count. The gold medal would go to the one who truly makes every move look like an accident or mistake.

I am grateful for the memory...even though this act was filmed just 32 days before I was even born...it still is a good memory of very talented people who could entertain the world without crude sexual or vulgar actions to keep the attention of its audience.

Fantastic. A little before my time. He acts so clumsy and falls down so often, yet he makes it look so real. Just amazing. Thanks for that snippet of a time gone by.

Excellent. There is no other word I can use for this. Simply excellent. Everything in this routine was perfect. The fact that he could pull this off and still have enough breath to talk fast. This guy must have been one of the greatest athletes ever. He's funny, clever, and athletic. A perfect comedian through and through.

Totally amazing stuff. Larry's comedic timing, skill and athleticism is second to none.
When you hear the phrase "TV is the box they buried Vaudeville in" now you see why.
Larry could have performed the same routines every night to different audiences for life. Bringing joy to each and everyone who saw him get better and better each time.
Put him on tv and millions see him and want somthing new. After all that. Shame.
The sooner we all stop vegetating in front if the box and get out to see

It was easy to entertain people back in the day. But what do you give someone who has everything? Someone who's seen it all? The best music that will ever be heard has been sung. The best stories have already been told more than once. We've been played in so many ways that what's old is new again means we forgot what we watched last year. Baseball, football, basketball, golf, soccer, and tennis are not getting better as much as they are getting old. Save us from ourselves, Larry!

Larry Griswald, (September 17, 1905 - August 24, 1996), What a fine acrobat, athlete, but perhaps more importantly one of the greatest clowns ever. In our world of plastic audience reaction tracks when you listen to this audience the difference is obvious.

Yes, those were the good old days, and yes, it was possible to laugh at things that are wholesome, and it still is! The problem is that Hollywood writers target kids who want to grow up fast and be 'cool'. And hey! It is still very cool to have good manners, ambition, and courage to stand away from the crowd and see the world differently. And even more cool is to have a family that shares quality time together. The good old days can be had today. Set limits to the things that divide families.
