Glad you got a shot of my dad’s bench in the video. He played the Wave every Sunday rain or shine with a group of guys who still play there to this day.
I just read the Golf Digest article about this show, so I decided to give it a shot. After one episode, I can already tell this is a great series. Very excited to watch the rest of the episodes.
I lived around the corner from Waveland for a couple of years. Good course --- hilly and challenging. Right off a busy highway so you get that nice auto ambiance. Looking forward to Veenker in Ames where I went to school and played it dozens of times on student discount. Excellent!
In the beginning, this sounded like a joke. Thankfully, this great series turned into one of the most influential golf series that muni golfers would watch. God bless Icarito!
'I said some things about Zach Johnson, among other famous Iowans, that uh...the people there didn't take too kindly to.' As an Iowan this had me rolling.
Awesome vid. I have traveled to the states 3 times in the last 3 years to play golf and catch up with friends, i am always looking for great courses to play at good prices as i can't afford that country club lifestyle. It is pretty easy to find good deals if you look around and put a bit of research in. Twilight can save you a lot and playing in off peak periods. Indian reserve casinos have some great course, like Yocha Dehe just outside of Sacramento, or going to Palm Springs in summer time. The best value by far was the $18.50 hot deal i scored online to play the UNC tarheels course in NC. p.s i woulld be happy to volunteer my services for more budget golf trips if needed. haha
Waveland was a solid option for us as poor Drake students. Can't believe you guys made it within a mile of Drake's campus and didn't stop to pay homage to ya boy Zach Johnson.
Woah! Woah! I’m going to have to stop you right there. A Subaru Outback is a fucking awesome car, perfect for a golf trip and way better than any ”premium SUV” they might have in the lot.* *Assuming they didn’t have a Range Rover Overfinch Edition with the whisky bar and mahogany shotgun cabinet in the back.
Love how sincere Randy & Tron sound about this making up for missing out on the Aussie and Scottish trips. Are the boys allowed to sell themselves on a street corner for more cash.
The skittles @1:37, pretty sure those are crazy sour's. I can't take a man seriously that goes to that level of skittle. And the whole, no tie thing, such a lack of professionalism.

I need a series or podcast where Randy just talks about whatever the hell is on his mind.
Randy is the most interesting guy in any room without knowing it
Have been a massive fan of Strapped! Going back and watching the early ones has been so good to remember how it started and has evolved.
Finally a series for Big Randy & the Merch Czar. Keep it coming.
Neil’s dedication to content while going through travel Hell is admirable to say the least. Give that man an award!

This is why you guys dominate.
digging this new series
Digging your new love for golf. Keep up the awesome videos man! Brodie and NLU collaboration?
Can't wait for the crossover episode with Adventures in Golf
Wait, is that actually going to be a thing?
In the beginning, this sounded like a joke. Thankfully, this great series turned into one of the most influential golf series that muni golfers would watch. God bless Icarito!
Neils energy is contagious. Love it
I'm halfway and this is already hilarious.
This is the best content you guys have ever made! And I genuinely enjoy all the podcasts and videos. This series is a game changer though.
This was an absolute delight. Bless you boys.
You guys are on a different level in the golf content platform. Superb!

One episode in, already the best series. Sorry Tourist Sauce.
That archival hacky sack footage looked great.
This has a very Idot Abroad vibe, and I love it!! Keep up the amazing content.
This was amazing.
'I said some things about Zach Johnson, among other famous Iowans, that uh...the people there didn't take too kindly to.'
As an Iowan this had me rolling.
13:15 "rough day in Minneapolis" was LOL
Well, guess it’s time to watch them all again.
Big Randy's review of Buzzard Billy's is amazing

Nice touch with the Knot
Getting better boys. Some color grading for your flat/washed out drone shots and some better mics and you would be miles ahead. Keep on it.
That's hilarious! love this video.
@12:46 Neil not even realizing he made a Phish reference
This is pretty funny
Waveland was a solid option for us as poor Drake students. Can't believe you guys made it within a mile of Drake's campus and didn't stop to pay homage to ya boy Zach Johnson.
Mount Rushmore of golf: Hogan, Woods, Nicklaus, Big Randy.
DJ should've taken the floor!!
Going through this series for probably my 5th time.
Neil is my spirit animal
This might be too good.
Woah! Woah! I’m going to have to stop you right there. A Subaru Outback is a fucking awesome car, perfect for a golf trip and way better than any ”premium SUV” they might have in the lot.*

Quality entertainment
Love Dan Carlin
im not saying its better without Tron and Soly but im saying its better lol im jk you guys all rock
I thought Neil and Randy would make D.J. sleep on the floor for the narc situation.
God dammit, DJ
Have any of you guys golfed in Minnesota yet?
This is fucking brillant! The suit jacket is on point 👌
3.5 hour drive from Minneapolis to Des Moines, should of had Randall go pick up Icarito in the Subaru
Guys. This is the one.
This is awesome. The dislikes better stay at zero.
Shout out to Todd, the server.
“i’d like to talk to randy and not your narc ass” 💀💀💀💀
Love how sincere Randy & Tron sound about this making up for missing out on the Aussie and Scottish trips. Are the boys allowed to sell themselves on a street corner for more cash.
Can Tron please get some kind of tan? The guy is damn near clear, blends right in with his button-up in the intro here...
17 minutes. 1 course.
Aw, snuggle buddies
🎶 #letmetellyouaboutmybestfriend 🎶
"the skin of an apple"
Daamn. Back when Neil was ripping hoons 🚬
I clicked because I thought that was Stallone.
I would have put you guys up for free! Live right next to Des Moines Golf and Cc. Not cost effective course though haha
You’re lucky, I’d much rather play at DMG compared to Glen Oaks.
WHO DISLIKED THIS!? WHAT KIND OF HEARTLESS PERSON...
Are you guys really out of Atlanta?
I will intern
7:51 😂
Parliament lights... (he parties).
11 hours of delays for a 3 hr 40 min drive haha.
Overland Park in CO claims to be the oldest muni west of the Mississippi River. Either I’m being duped out here in CO, or you did in Iowa....
Neil, dude, you can't make a business flight on time? Jesus.
Cute boyfiriends. ;)
The skittles @1:37, pretty sure those are crazy sour's. I can't take a man seriously that goes to that level of skittle. And the whole, no tie thing, such a lack of professionalism.
I thought this was a show about golf and in reality its just close ups of dudes talking
Honestly if Tournament Club of Iowa isn't a part of this series this whole thing is a sham.
DJ is a narc.
