30-ish years ago when I worked in the bag shop at a couple of very nice Midwestern clubs, there was a magician who showed up to play in member-guests at both of them. The stuff he did seriously blew my mind. I'm sure performing at clubs wasn't his full time gig but he was a low single digit handicap. I won some $ betting on his group when I found out he was his team's C player.
He went from Little Baby Neil/ Icarito/ The Kid to a dad living in Brooklyn doing cookouts for the boys on the roof. What a turnaround for our competitor
Moved back to the suburbs recently after 8 years living in Chicago. The end of this really resonated, just something about a big city buzz. Not for everyone but I miss it. Great content!
You guys shot this so well, loved the non conventional camera angles. Some of the B roll reminded me of the city shots in the Succession intro. Well done!
Speaking from experience, the magic you guys witnessed was just a tick above the BK Magic Shop. With that said, you will enjoy the charm of that show, as well
