It's been almost 8 years since I finished death note. This scene and this music still hurts man. Light Yagami is such an interesting once-in-a lifetime character. He will always be my favourite.
He was indeed alone. He was one against an army of innumerable Ls; one L after another. Of course he had to lose at some point. It just wasn’t fair. In my eyes, Light Yagami won when he killed L Lawliet.
When you look at the credits you always see only light. no one else, it's just him, Misa imo was just a part-time character, since when he was caught, he cried for Misa, almost forgetting that she lost her memories of the Death Note. It's genuinly sad.
@@jasonphoenix3569 Yeah oh my god how unfair and sad it was almost like L wasn't having to deal with 2 death gods and a girl with Shinigami eyes with a staff that in 90% of the anime did nothing.

Es curioso como esta canción sacada de tal obra maestra... marca un final, al menos a mi, me deja un vacío, uno de paz y de tranquilidad, pero que aún así es doloroso. Al final así es como muchas cosas buenas terminan...
Concuerdo contigo totalmente. Es un sentimiento de un vacío único, cómodo y al mismo tiempo nostálgico. Me llena de melancolía, por momentos, y una gran tristeza por pensar lo que podría haber sido de Light. Este OST me destruye (junto a Solitude y L's Past), una obra maestra inigualable.
I really wish Light hadn’t died. He knew his actions were wrong but he thought his perfect world would be worth it. He didn’t understand the flaw of his perfect world, that there would only be people who followed the rules out of a fear of death. Or maybe he understood and thought that it was still a good idea so that on the off chance there was a truly good person out there they wouldn’t be vulnerable to the wicked. Either way he meant only the best, but he had to be stopped. He didn’t deserve death however, he did what he believed was right and I commend him for that. Rest in Peace Light Yagami.
I hate Kira, but I didn't hate Light. I still cry at the ending because I mourn the person Light COULD have been, without the Death Note I suppose you could say the good intentions came from Light but Kira was someone created out of the death note, probably because it was a supernatural object, meant to be used by a god of death. Kira had a god complex and didn't care about anything but power, and he killed people to get his own way, not that killing people for any other reason is much better.
Im sad that many people in todays time dosen't know about this masterpiece anime cuz everyone are obsessed with aot and demon Slayer.Im not telling that i hate those anime since I also want them and like them but sadly death note didn't got the popularity that is deserved
As much as I know, death note is actually a really popular anime. Many people know about it. Although from my opinion, I don’t think it’s such a mainstream anime like aot or demon slayer etc.
