The only thing I would've included is the approximate times that the buses and subway operate from.
Bus goes to Taksim in around 30-40 mnts depending on the traffic.
The train reaches Kagithane in apprx 30mnts.

For sultanahmet, taking havaist bus is better. Metro takes so much time and changes.

The airport taxi has monopoly for arrivals. You can try Bitaksi, but it might not come.

In Istanbul airport, it takes time to collect luggage and pass throguh passport. Reaching center in 2 hours after landing might not be possible

Most taxis accept credit cards too. However, it is better to change some money ($50) at the airport to be safe. Then, you can change your big money at grand bazaar (I have a video about it).

Hi Burak, just wanted to know if there are any buses operating from Istanbul airport to Gebze. I checked on the web, Obilet shows many buses running from Istanbul airport to Gebze Bus station every 2-3 hours. So that would be a better option than metro/train, right? As I am having more luggage. Thankyou

1. I hear taxis sometimes dare asking extra money for the last part of the trip or they kick you out. Is that happening often?
2. Te remedy one, i was told to arrange a fixed price. Is thst a normal thing to do?
3. I hear haggling is a thing there tooz should one haggle for the taxi price??
For taxi, it is better to make them open the taximeter and go with it. Also, check on google maps if the taxi driver goes the right way.
