Thank you SO MUCH. Whole topic videos (if you consider grouping the practicals as a topic) for A-Levels are impossible to find, so I’m really grateful for this.
@PhysicsOnline I saw in an aqa exam paper where there is a drawing of a ruler and a length you have to measure. The ruler’s graduations were 1mm but you had to record the length to 0.1mm by estimating. It didn’t tell you though, I know this by looking at the MS.
Nice one. My older son has his A-level tomorrow. I'd have paid your £20 if the subscription were to have lasted until my younger son takes his A-level in 2 and a half years. He'll have to make do with my tuition this evening. We'll subscribe at the start of the next academic year. Nice drawings by the way. Do you actually demonstrate the experiments I.R.L.?
In CPAC 1 do you have to investigate the effects of all the given variables (length, tension, mass/unit length) on freq., or can you just do one, e.g length?
01:06 - Young's slit experiment
13:00 - Determining g by free-fall method
16:00 - Young's Modulus
21:34 - Determining Resistivity
23:37 - Emf and internal resistance of electric cells and batteries
Idk why this was pinned...
01:06 - Frequency of stationary waves
6:01 - Young's slit experiment
...

Very helpful for my mock exam!
how'd it go?
This is very helpful, please also do the Year 13 one!
I have! You can find them on my website at: www.alevelphysicsonline.com/aqa-year-13-practicals-revision
@@PhysicsOnline do you have a video on the year 13 practicals on youtube?

@@mfr-247 Year 13 stuff are blocked behind a pay wall (which is fair tbh)
thanks this is so helpful!
Really helpful Thank you

When you are taking a measurement and say the resolution is 1mm, to what precision do you record to? For example, 98.5cm vs 98.52cm.
That would be 98.5 mm (to the closest millimetre)

Great video thanks. I was just wondering if we also need to know the practical about thermistors?

May God bless you
is it not v = 2 x gradient for the first practical? this what my school told us?

Thank you so much 😊
